1 year ago I walked into Family Dollar in Somerset MA. All of a sudden this woman came storming towards me and my daughter saying for us to leasve. Saying that I had stolen from her store. That if we didn't leave now she would call the police and show them the video of me stealing.

I kinda giggled and said go ahead I know I have never stolen a penny off the floor oa little f this place. I have never stolen anything from this store EVER I am not a thief AND IM JUST THAT CONFIDENT. SO TODAY JULY 31st.

A little over 1 year later she behaved the exact same way.. IN THE WORDS OF JIM MORISIN " People are strange when ur a stranger, woman seem wicked when ur unwanted, Streets are ugly when your alone.

I went into the family dollar store in BOWDON Ga. I purchased 6 boxes of baking soda some Aussie freeze and a 32 oz bubbles grime fighter spray cleaner. I took the bag on the counter thinking everything was in the one bag.

I went down to Piggly Wiggly. Then went home. As I was taking my bags out. I noticed I only had the baking soda. And my receipt showed he charged me for 8 boxes not 6 of baking soda. My cleaner and Freeze was not here.

I called about 10 times to the phone number on my receipt. It rings 10 times then hangs up. It’s Sunday just home from church. I called same number it done same. I can go back up there tomorrow but I wanted them to know I didn’t get all my items.

This morning, I went to my favorite and closest Family Dollar located in WILKESVILLE, OHIO. I discovered that Daisy, the manager, and Austin, a cashier had been fired for reasons that were ridiculous. Daisy made an honest mistake in the checkout. Austin didn't give the candy to the customer. The customer stole it by distracting him and holding it, so it wasn't visible.

These two people are valued members of , well.....were valued members of your network. I went there often. They were always polite, the most helpful, and interested in customer service and satisfaction of any employees in any of the other Family Dollar stores. There unfair firing is not a good move. on April 7th, I purchased a Deluxe Remote for my television. I tried all the numbers to program it. I tried all the numbers but none of them worked for my television. I the remote back the next day and was told they don't do refunds on electronics. It could not be open. Help me to understand how I was supposed to see if it works for my television if I did not open the package? I asked for the district managers number, but she never answered the phone nor returned my call. I am out of $16.05. I had all the packaging and receipt. Is this the true policy for your company? Bought 2 pairs of reading glasses. Clerk said they were $2.75 a pair .when I checked out they were $11.00 and change a pair.clerk told the manager and she said nothing. Everything thing in this store is priced ridiculously higher than other family dollars.I think were being screwed over by the help.

I have written two complaints with no reply. I have submitted a complaint with the bbb. I experienced extreme racism in your store by a cashier who opened a cleaning product in my bag intentionally. A mistake that happens once believable but four different occasions can't be an accident.

My husband has worked with your company for over a year now. He until today was never told not to check out family members . The store manager told him this then walked away. My 3 children and I had to wait 30 minutes to be checked out .

This is ridiculous and discrimination towards my family. Josh the manager is horrible to his employees and store. Literally tells them unless they do what he says he will cut there hours. He always leaves early and never works night shift, always switches with someone.

On 4/3/2025 i went into family dollar about 8:00 am the door was open i came in some young white guy came at me like he was going to throw me out I'm 65 years old so he closed the door and locked the door then a older white man came up then thay opened the door I'm a African American.this young white guy always looks at me with discriminatory looks this store i on west 92 nd ave federal heights co store # is 5457 this guy don't need to be working there with that kind of attitude

The Rushville store is completely trashed and Nasty and there is no way to get through the front door it's a safety problem....U-boats and carts and stock all over the store can't even get a cart through the store...Behind the counter is even nasty and gross....U-boat of stock all over the store it's nasty and huge fire hazard

I go to the Dollar tree/ Family Dollar in Anita Iowa often. The assistance Mgr named either Connie or Bonnie is very rude to me every time I go in there. I expected to her I can't carry a bad to heavy because of health problems.

She packed my 6 Monsters in 2 bags, refused double bag and 6 Brisk tea's in 2 single bags. Even bag broke when carrying them in the house, I lost all 6 Monsters because my drive was is gravel. I told her this happened and she said it was my fault.

On 12/14/2024 at 11: 07 I was treated disrespectfully by an employee in your Fort Benning Rd. Location. The manager was not able to get this employee under control. This person came out from behind the counter and acted as if she was about to attack me .

The family dollar/dollar tree store on Arch street little Rock Ar 72206 needs new management.!!! The team at this location is racist. Very rude and swears in front of customers. I witnessed the management berating employees. And I have been a loyal customer at this location for 10 years.

Made a purchase 3 weeks ago, and two weeks ago at the same family dollar store. Was told at the time of my second purchase, two weeks ago, that the store would be closing and a dollar tree would take its place sometime in October not sure when, probably mid to end of October.

I don’t have a complaint but a compliment. I went to Family Dollar in Brusly.Louisiana today and when I walked in I was shocked how clean and orderly everything was. For the past few years all the ones I have frequented has so many boxes,clothes and garbage on the aisles you can’t get to the shelves. The workers are talking on their phones while being checked out or they are hiding behind the boxes in aisles on phones. The cashier at the Brusly location was very polite and alert since she was distracted by her phone.

Well, I guess this is a compliment and complaint…of neighboring stores.

It is to my recent visit on a Sunday that I was not able to purchase alcohol before 12 o'clock...it is a state law that on Sunday you can purchase alcohol after 10 o'clock why is this establishment and different than the many others here in NORTH Carolina

My complaint is for the store location 757 w Broadway council bluffs iowa. I am a frequent shopper at this Family Dollar. I would say I shop there at least 3 or 4 times a week. The Family Dollar on SW Capitol Ave in Battle Creek have made their carts so that they cannot go outside. We are old and disabled so after filling our cart and checking out we realized we were going to have to have help getting out.

The checker was no help. Said we are tired of having our carts stolen after I asked why do you do this to customers. The lady behind us helped us out and got the bags into our car. I've been shopping at the Family Dollar store # 12504 for over 2 yrs, up til now myself,family and friends have tolerated the sour attitude of the manager there. Today I simply asked a question about the price of an item on my receipt and her response was a very curt I don't know and mumbled something else under her breath.

I'm in the store often and she Never smiles or rarely greets anyone. Se acts like she just hates being there. I avoid shopping if I know she's working and that's pretty sad. I don't like to say negative things about people but her attitude needs to change towards your customers.

I was overcharged for 1 item 4 times and just wanted my money back or purchase something else in the store and the girl in the phone said I had to come back the same day because the girl that helped me would not be there.
