Customers are experiencing severe fulfillment issues with orders placed in late 2022 remaining undelivered for months. Customer service is completely unresponsive, with only automated replies being sent despite multiple contact attempts through email and chat.
Common Issues
Placed and order in December of 2022...still have not received it...sent multiple emails and all I get is an automated response saying they are backed up. I want to know where my item is or give me a refund if you can't tell me. Order # 158121
86 charged to my credit card for the remaining balance. I received a confirmation number for the order. I have yet to receive the item as of 1/13/2023. I began emailing Stein Mart customer service on 11/30/2022. I have emailed them numerous times since to inquire about my order.
I have not had a response to any of my inquiries. I have tried to inquire with the online chat service. It is simply automated. Didn’t get any help. The 2 phone numbers listed online are not correct, 1-888-783-4662 and 1-800-447-8346.
I tried to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Florida to no avail. They indicated the business (Stein Mart) could not be found. I have never had such a terrible customer service experience.
