Factory 2-U is a chain of convenience stores formed in 1962 and is owned and operated by National Stores. Factory 2-U is a brand owned by National Stores that distributes off-brand clothing under the Factory 2-U moniker. Factory 2-U also operates outlets under the name Fallas Paredes and its brand. Following the filing for bankruptcy protection by Factory 2-U shops in February 2004, the company worked with National Outlets to arrange the sale of 172 stores to the latter company. In August 2004, Factory 2-U stores were liquidated, with the proceeds of the sale going to Factory 2-U Liquidation LLC, a consortium led by National Stores, which received $28.5 million.
