You have lost a lifelong customer as of yesterday. I spend a significant amount of money at target. I bought groceries, clothes for my grandsons, makeup, you name it. Over $1,000 a month at least. However all that changed this week. I was at the excelsior Minnesota store. On three different days, I had to search the entire store to find someone who speaks English. I wasted time asking person after person if they spoke English. 96% of your customers in excelsior are English speaking. 4% of the population speak Spanish. Your English speaking customers should not have to experience this. You should accommodate your customers so they can be helped when they have questions. The Spanish only speakers cannot tell you where anything is or help in any way. Finally I walked out only to be chased down saying they found someone who spoke English. So I tell the English speaking man my frustration and he says, "well, you found me" and I replied that it took 15 minutes to find someone. He explained they hire dei people. A lot of good that does for the 96 percent of us. Why don't you hire bilingual? The next time it happened I talked to the manager and she just stared at me with a blank look on her face and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. This is unacceptable. Now I go out of my way and pay a little more to buy my items. I boycotted target when the kids trans stuff came out and then it was gone so I returned. Never again will I shop at target and at least 2 of my friends won't either. Id like a response about this unfair practice of hiring people who don't speak English, and probably are illegally here in the first place.
