Some of the staff in this resort are uninformed and very rude.
We checked in on Thursday July 2, 2026. We asked for an ADA room, we were told none was available. We asked for a shower chair; the Clerk who checked us in said she will request for one. None was sent the first night.
The next day, I called and requested a chair, the woman who answered the call said they do not give chairs for the bath because of insurance liabilty.
I told her that if I fall in the bath, that would be a liability. I asked for her name and she gave the name EMILY. I told her that if I fall in the bath, they certainly WILL have a liability.
Less than 30 minutes later, a bath chair was delivered.
Today, as we were checking out, a Clerk (who gave his name as Kameron) attended to me.
I asked for the Manager, he said the Manager was not available. I told him I needed to file a complaint. He said he can take my complaint. I explained what happened. He did not bother to write my complaint down; instead he proceeded to tell me that the manager of housekeeping had informed them that they do not give out chairs becausethey do not fit properlyin the tub.
He was argumentative and defending his colleague for the misinformation she had given. If they do not provide chairs for the bathroom, why did they send a chair to me shortly after my discussionwith "EMILY"?
None of them have name tags, it's possible they were either giving wrong names or other colleagues' names.
Cameron refused to give me the contact email for the manager.
Wyndham need to improve the quality of staff that they hire; they must also train them properly.
