I mailed my mortgage payment to a local bank 10 days before it was due and now I am being charged $19.99 because the bank DID NOT receive payment until January 22nd. In my research, the check went from Louisville, Kentucky to Oklahoma, then to Indianapolis, then back to Louisville. So who do I contact to pay the $19.99 because it is clearly the fault of the USPS. I would give you 0 stars if I could. What a mess the postal service has become. I would be ashamed if I were you.
