It was our anniversary and as usual made reservations at Ruth's Chris in Orlando Florida. This location is always our go to for special celebratory business and family events; however, we were very disappointed with our last visit.  To begin with, when we were seated our server seemed to be preoccupied because throughout our stay we were always waiting and waiting it had truly gotten ridiculous. This is not the service we had ever received in the past. Also as I glanced at the curtains to my right I could not believe the amount of dirt on the curtains. The amount of dirt on these curtains had a depth to it, not a thin layer. I then worried about the cleanliness in the kitchen, what customers do not see. Finally, as we sat in our booth a man, who works  there, was talking on a landline, or a better word would be yelling on the phone as he was telling the person on the other end that he was on vacation and today was his first day back blah, blah, blah.  Everyone in the restaurant had to listen to his whole conversation.  When we left the restaurant that evening, my husband said to me disappointedly, was that Ruth's Chris' restaurant? I answered no.
I was not going to complain and just not go again, but I think that may not be the proper approach.  I would want to know this helpful information if it were my business.
