I made reservation at Holiday Inn Downtown Miami FL hotel for
April 19, 2024. For 1 night I made these reservations in 2023.
For 4 of us Me Kimberley Knoetig, Linda Frenzel, Jill Rand, Doreen Blossom
we arrived early was checked in by Leo. Leo very rude when we were checking we asked him when the room might be ready his reply in a rude voice, when it is ready it will be ready I have no idea give Leo the $50.00-dollar refundable deposit. That was never refunded to
after till I called it for and then finally got refunded me. The room wasn’t ready, but we didn’t expect it to be because we were so early. We just needed a place to put our bags in luggage so we could go shopping. We stored our bags at the hotel. We asked Leo if there was a restroom we could use said yes over there down the hall never told us that we needed a key card to get in to the bathroom so we walked back to the desk to tell Leo the bathroom was locked he said here give us a key card for the bathroom and then off we went shopping. At 2:45 Pm we were able to get into our room. We noticed when we were going to our room only 2 of the 3 elevators were working didn’t think anything of it we got to our room 511 on the 5th floor for the night.

Got up that morning decided we were going to take a walk go to the elevators found out only one elevator was working so we decided we better get ready get to the elevator and get going if there was only one elevator working so we got our bags and went to the elevator press the button down every time it came to us it was totally full., could not fit on it Then while we were waiting for the 1 working elevator one of the room cleaners tried to pick a fight with us because we were saying that there was only one elevator available. She looks at us and says it’s not her fault so I don’t want to hear it, We weren’t even talking to her. So we went back to our room with our luggage and two of us took the stairs down five flights and the staircase was 90° at very humidity. Got down to the front desk and was waited on by Leo. Who told us that would be there sooner or later to fix the elevator but then another in any other sentence he says they are working on them now. We asked if we could have some help. We had a handicap person on the 5th floor and 7 bags of luggage 4 back packs to bring down. very rudely said to us deal with it there is nothing I can do. There is nobody here to help you so you’ll have to do it yourself.
Someone give us the luggage cart got to the elevator every time the elevator came it was full we have a handicap person with us that need to go down to the first floor, finally after wait thought ten times of the elevators stopping at our floor there was room for the handicap person on. I waited an hour on the fifth floor with a luggage rack full of luggage to go down but every time the one working elevator stopped at the 5th it was totally full. we needed to get to the cruise port, and check in and go on our cruise. We had saved for over a year and a half for this cruise, we’re all excited to be going on this cruise. Finally, Linda and Jill found a guy his name was Alexander Juarez that would bring our luggage down the five flights of stairs. We had to tipped him good, but it was worth it rather than wait for that one elevator we would’ve never got down to the first floor and Leo was no help he rude to us that stay at your hotel I know there’s a lot of people coming and going because it’s near the cruise port but he doesn’t have to be rude and tell people to deal with it. it’s not our fault that your elevator was broke. I want a full refund. I heard one lady in the lobby when I finally made it down there say she got a full refund
