Amazon accepts and publishes seller feedback and complaints but buries their own, not only on their website but the internet as a whole. Amazon doesnt take responsibility for it's own errors in process or product. In the last two weeks I've experienced two product refunds denied even though they resulted from Amazon problems. I reported a product that didnt work as advertised causing a buffet table fire and metallic food contamination. I'm the hot potato for responsibility between Amazon, the seller and the manufacturer. I tried to notify them of the problem and ask for a refund, no damages, but was denied because I didn't take pictures during an urgent situation. I'd love to deliver lunch using those disposable chafing pans. On 12/23 I ordered 2 pkgs of a food product but, because the website was acting erratically, I ended up with 6 pkgs. I tried to return the 4 duplicated pkgs. The system responded that the items weren't eligible for refund since I wasn't charged for them even though it showed up on my transaction summary. When I called to get it straightened out, I was told the reason the refund didn't go through is because the items werent defective. Sounds like the holidays played havoc with their website OR their response loops are screwed up but they're not admitting to any problem on their end. So, buyer beware of Amazon practices and their live robot brainless voice scripts.
