I was embarrassed and judged today and talked down on while attempting to return cat and jack items that my kids have worn maybe once and no longer use and wanted to get them other cat and jack items some were defective others weren’t. I had proof of purchase and barcodes for every single item but no tags because I didn’t anticipate to return anything I cent predict the future. James at the boynton beach west FL location was very condescending and judgmental for 3 items and he refused to return the rest. I still had other returns to make like some universal these items and a bathing suit that was defective and I couldn’t finish my returns because he was very frustrated and annoyed at how many returns I had to make. He proceeded to tell me I can’t return used items and that their new rule states 90 days for cat and jack and specific stores have the right to do this and I said I’ve never heard that before your policy states one year gently used new or worn items. I even said thank you for having patience with me with some of these retunes and after just 3 items he kept saying is that it how many more is that it. This is NO WAY TO TREAT A LOYAL CIRCLE target card member. I should be able to return items with proof of purchase without being asked anything or being judged. Disgusting behavior. Then some other tween tried explaining their new policy he has face tattoos and lots of hair and may be a team lead not sure but no one asked for him to chime in. I never want to return to this target again and it’s sad bc it’s the closest one to me. I am a year in remission I am in the middle of a divorce with two kids living on my own and barely able to make ends meet my life isn’t easy right now and some people need to treated with kindness and empathy something that the gentleman tonight don’t possess whatsoever and 90% of the employees at this specific target don’t either. You all need a reality attitude check. If you don’t like your job get another one if you’re mad stay home if you hate the world stay home
