I am writing to formally demand a full refund for my stay at Baymont by Wyndham in Durango, Colorado, due to unsafe, unsanitary, and uninhabitable conditions that directly impacted my family—particularly my children. Immediately upon entering the assigned room, we discovered bed bugs. In addition, we observed spiders crawling from the ceiling, confirming that the room was not properly cleaned or maintained. As a result of this infestation, my children were bitten, which is completely unacceptable and constitutes a serious health and safety hazard. I have photos and videos documenting the bed bugs, the insects crawling from the ceiling, and the resulting bites. These were available at the time of complaint and remain available upon request. We promptly reported the issue to hotel management and attempted to resolve the matter reasonably. I spoke directly with individuals identifying themselves as managers, Jonathan and Harry, who refused to escalate the issue, refused to involve corporate management, and refused to issue a refund. Instead, we were told that we would only receive a refund if we paid an additional $121 cancellation fee.
