On April 10th ‘24, at the Destin, FL.Wyndham we met w/Claire Gunter after an owners meeting. She said our booking availability was limited due to having 3 contracts, which we have since learned is untrue. She also said that we could offset our fees by selling vacations &she would help us with that & become our “ambassador.” She never followed through on this & was not available any time we reached out. In fact, we never heard from her again. During that meeting with her we told her we could not afford added expenses & she assured us it wouldn’t cost us money to combine our contracts, which is also untrue. Then at the Wyndham in Sevierville, TN, Dustin Carr did the June 28th, ‘24 presentation. He & Cj Lechner spoke to us after, & said we had $78,346 in equity but that it was "non-transferrable.” They said if we signed their contract it would change to "transferrable equity" & allow us to draw $78,346 from our deed, after making 1% payments for 9-12 months & pay off our most recent Wyndham debt accrued w/Claire & them. However, Dustin and Cj’s manager, Wes Burkhardt, later said on a recorded phone call that there is no such 1% promotion and that he's never heard of someone drawing off their equity. We have been charged $973.77/month since then causing immense financial strain, which Cj said IN THE RECORDED CONTRACT SIGNING (with Robert Stewart) that we would not have to pay because of the “promotion.” In fact BEFORE SIGNING, we called Cj back in the RECORDED MEETING room, after the $973.77 monthly payment was mentioned, & we verbally stated that we CAN’T afford that. Cj came back in the room & assured us that we would be taking advantage of the 1% promotional deal would never see the bill for a $973+/month, & gave us the peace of mind to sign the contract. The 15 day window to cancel a contract had passed by the time we learned that we signed a contract based on lies. As a resolution, we would like the Wyndham contracts we signed in 2024 to be cancelled completely.
