I am a Terminally Cancer disabled elderly woman. I booked a stay for my last goodbye trip to Colorado where I lived over 30+ years. I emailed the GM on 7/4/204 requesting a adjoined room with my grandson due to my health ongoing Chemo Therapy.I was ignored, so I reached out on 7/15/2024 @ 11:45am via phone and spoke to KATHY who told me they could not accommodate me because it was going to be full even though I was 2 months away before the booked stay. Since they could not help me with accommodations for a disabled lady I was forced to cancel verbally so I had to book at a sister property & was guaranteed it was confirmed canceled to worry no further she took care of it. Well, no she did not! I was charged not only for a room $233.15 & an additional $233.15 for cancellation fee. I am over here fighting for my life with Cancer only to have this which is now so stressful I should not be focused on this that I never even stayed. That is $466.30 of Cancer treatment money I am out for someone else's error. I am devastated & feel discriminated against for needing special accommodations. Is this how you treat your elderly ill folks now?If I could give a negative I would.
