5/14/2026 To U-Haul To Whom it may Concern, On 5/8/2026 I picked up my U-haul trailer( I have enclosed a copy of my contract). I reserved a 4x8 trailer from Rutledge mini Storage . I rented it in good faith and when I got to my storage unit down the street . I found out I had more things and they wouldn't fit in a 4x8 trailer . So I called Rutledge Mini Storage and asked if I could bring the 4x8 trailer back , They could keep the money , I just needed to rent a bigger trailer so I only have to make one trip . She said no and asked her manager and he said no. I told her she could keep the money for the 1st trailer and they could rent me a bigger trailer , so I would only have to make 1 trip , she said no. I drove from Ohio to N.C. to clean out my storage unit . NOW I have to go back again , pay tolls and gas and another month of storage . When I returned it to lil Repair shop in Plains Ohio , He told me they could have rented me a bigger trailer and taken back the small one as long as I paid for both, which I was willing to do. He told me they could have rented me a larger trailer or if they didn't have one they could have called around to get one. I'm mad because I rented it in good Faith and now because they didn't know what they were doing , I have to make a 2nd trip back to N.C. . I have to pay tolls again and gas again and another month of storage . I should be REIMBURSED FOR TOLLS AND GAS AND 1 MONTH OF STORAGE . I wouldn't have come back a 2nd time , So they owe me , Enclosed are my Receipts Gas -270.00 tolls 25.50 60.00 for 1 more month of storage (which could have been avoided if I got all my things out with a larger trailor) I always use U haul but i'm upset with uhaul now.
