I filed with Turbotax back in the begging of March it is now about to be June and I still haven’t received my refund I’ve tried the where’s my refund app and it says they can’t provide me any information.

So the issue has to be with turbo tax.

I’ve called the Idaho IRS, IRS and turbo tax.

I want to know what the issue is and where’s my refund it’s been almost 3 months.

The TurboTax audit defense made my life a living hell.

I had some issues when I was notified that my 2016 tax filing was being audited and the defense team had me spending months making digital copies of everything and having an accountant make a QuickBooks file duplicating my ledger sheets.

They insisted I needed a digital copy of all of my records.

Two months of spending days making copies, sespite my protestations that this should not be necessary.

Finally, I told them I wanted the auditor to come to my home and see my records.

We have a small business, my wife and myself.

We keep good records, but the dwefense people insisted I needed a travel log of all mileage done for business and a list of all travel expenses with all hotels and airfare done separately so I would need to tear…

Because I am dumbfounded as to why my tax refund is thousands of dollars less I waited until the last day to file so that I may be able to find out what I did wrong.

Unable to find someone to answer me I decided to just go ahead and finish the process and file.

I had to log on and off REPEATEDLY every few minutes for approximately 1.

5 hours just to complete the process.

I seemed to enter all of the needed information, however, the website continues to tell me I'm not done?

After the last half hour of logging in and being kicked out I cannot continue anymore, for this is a borrowed computer.

I will attempt again tomorrow which is April 16th and if I am able to complete the process I DO NOT BELIEVE IT WOULD BE RIGHT FOR ME TO PAY A PENALTY!

Is this going to happen?

kept wanting me to pay self employed tax when i am retired, could not get the form to print w/o saying i needed to pay $20000 more for being employed when i am retired. last time for these bfs

Overall I had a good experience with Turbo Tax.

My only complaint is that it encouraged me to upgrade to Max Benefits (an additional $60), and didn’t tell me that this would require me to share my personal information with a third party until after I paid for it.

I was not comfortable with this and wished to be refunded the sixty dollars.

When I contacted them, the lady on the phone was very nice but had no authority to refund my purchase nor could she direct me to someone who could.

Turbo failed to e-file my taxes sending me into a loop of unexplained nonsense.

There was no problems with anything related to my brokerage account transactions, yet this lousy Intuit software kept at me regarding a needed fixit that was NOT needed.

It was forced to mail my forms.

Only then did I discover that this stinking TurboTax entered a Tax Withheld TWICE once on 1040 Line 16 and again on Line 17 as shown on Schedule 5.

I now must do an amended return and SEND IN additional tax due money.

WHAT A SHAM!!!

There WAS NO ONE who could help me!!!

If I could give you zero stars I would.

I paid to have my return filed through you.

Your service told me that I overpaid my social security tax by 977.

00 and I would use that to offset the federal money I still owed, your program was failing to show me that was going to occur so instead of paying another 80.

00 ransom money to speak to one of your "specialists" whom I cannot confirm credentials I asked for a refund so I could take my taxes back to my accountant.

You refused, so you stole my money essentially and did not provide the paid for services.

Your organizations is corrupt.

I have used Turbo tax for over 20 years.

I would buy CD and load to my laptop.

This year I did the online and since all my information was in cloud and at the end when I am ready to file, they added on Max benefits which I don't remember selecting and there seemed no way to remove it and I got stuck for $49.

They said I got ID fraud protection with it and when I said I did not process this part, a message came saying I could do it at anytime.

I already have that kind protection through another company.

Intuit got money this year but it is the last year they will get my money.

I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Complaint with the National Credit Union Administration.

The issue was I was unable to print the return for delivery by mail (i.e. without the "Duplicate only do not etc" as a watermark.

I called to get some guidance on how to do this.

A fairly basic question you might think.

I was on the phone for over 2 hours.

It was very difficult to understand the support person as she had a very thick accent and apparently did not understand me as she kept asking me questions I had already answered several times.

Above all, it was clear to me the support person did not know the system at all.

I asked to speak to a supervisor repeatedly and was told it was being done, then 10 minutes later she would come back on the phone with some excuse on why it had not been done.

She asked for remote access to my computer but that was not possible as I trade…

I been using Turbotax for years and never had any problems reaching out to customer service until this year.

I find the system that is being use for customer service a a big disappointment I have to go through all this through a prompt that is unnecessary and amend to my needs of help from your company.

This is the worse and unorganized way to help customer in need with a question unless you trying to ripoff customers that have questions to file their taxes through your system and not providing good services from the previous years before your depend on this garbage way of a format that you think is the easy way to help customers with taxes when in fact not having a live human being to answer your phone through the proper and normal prompt that will help a customer instead of letting…

I submitted my 2018 taxes with TurboTax, and was charged for it and have confirmation.

However, IRS claims it was never submitted and that I am supposed to contact TurboTax.

However, I am locked out of my account, and none of the specialists are able to help me.

They say I am permanently locked out due to compliance concerns.

So, I am at risk of being penalized by the IRS, after I have paid TurboTax (and have confirmation for it).

I will be posting on every single social media account letting everyone else know.

I purchased Turbo Tax Premier for 2018.

I have been trying since the latter part of January to have an issue resolved related to forms that would not load.

The areas that I specifically was trying to access but could not get the "step by step" instructions to load were related to Car Expenses (e.g. registration) and Medical Expenses.

I spent a total of more than 4 hours on the phone with your so-called "technical support" people.

The last time being today where I was on the phone for over 90 minutes trying to resolve this issue to no avail.

I was ultimately told, "just take the standard deduction" since it has increased this year to $24,000 and "in my years of experience not many people" have itemized deductions that exceed that.

That way, you don't have to be so "nit picky".…

Thought it was still free since that's how they advertise it.

It told me I had to pay for the $39.

99 deluxe edition to get my refunds for being a student, then they charged me another $39.

99 for filing my state.

Of course I just wanted them to take out the $80 from my refund, which for some reason now costs $39.

99?!?!

So I end up paying $120 for this "free" service.

Tried to clear my info and cancel but it tells me "Once you register your tax return, or pay any TurboTax fees, we can no longer clear and start over."

My entire day has been waiting or online for customer service.

I have had 6 hangups from customer service and no one will help.

I started at 9:30 am central time and it is 6:31pm and I am still on hold.

You did not file my 2017 taxes. you have my payment ID # and I have your credit card payment dated 2/3/17.

I want my taxes paid! w/o late fees to me.

If i do not get anyone to help me, you will also have attorney fees to pay.

What kind of company are you that will not correct your mistakes.

I went on line to file my taxes like I have in the past year, this year they tried to get me to due a update, federal extra 39.

99 dollars and extra 39.

99 extra for stat and it I had it taken out on my taxes would of cost e another 39..

99, I tried to get out of doing the upgrade and it would not let me, says free it you want extra you can so no thanks or do the upgrade this year it would not let me keeps say upgrade, I did get my taxes done in another way, Why are you try so hard to make people pay the extra if they don't want it?

I read other complaints about this happening to other people

I am ready to file my tax return.

The Federal Income tax section doesn't look correct and I can't get back into it.

It's showing complete on your end, but has not been submitted.

I called once and had a recording that there was an hour plus hold, so put my number in and received a callback, but no one was there.

I resubmitted, received a callback about an hour later.

Talked to someone who took my question and she put me on hold and I have been on hold for 40 minutes now.

This is ridiculous.

I apparently was put back into the original cue.

If I don't hear from someone in 15 minutes I'll file my tax return as is, expect you to file an addendum and I want a refund and will never recommend this service to anyone.

Second payment was processed, but first is still listed as pending/hold.

I would like to have my money released back to me and deposited back into my account.

Horrible long torchered process.

Took forever to file originally.

I had started my 2016 last year but had trouble then so went to Jackson Hewitt and paid outrageous price.

Anyway when I tried to do my simple 2017 taxes here it kept taking me to 2016.

After many hours I was able to complete.

Both taxes rejected from fed n state.

I had wrong AGI.

I tried to amend this on TurboTax’s site last night and it kept treating me as New customer.

Called and had ‘Margaret’ call me after 2 hours.

Then was on call for 1hour n 16 minutes.

She couldn’t find solution!!

Then my call disconnected.

What a sham.

I had to call IRS today and will mail my returns.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

I’d like someone in authority to call me.

I’d like my money back.

I am highly disappointed with your affiliate that is withholding my tax refund for no specific reason. there is no contact number that allows me to reach a representative and after going online I see several hundred people with the same issue.

I spend several hundreds of dollars a year with your service and unless my issue is resolved very shortly and I take my business elsewhere and most likely others will as well. my refund is serval thousands of dollars being withheld without interest that they are earning on it.

I filed my Federal and Illinois state tax return using Turbo tax.

The federal return was submitted and no problems.

I received a notice from The Illinois State comptroller.

The letter informed me that I completed my tax return incorrectly.

Therefor my tax refund was less than what I claimed.

I called Turbo tax and they bounced me around on the phone with customer support numerous times without a solution.

The reps claimed they could not view my tax return records.

The state tax program is flawed and does not work.
