Trader Joes

This is the first time I have ever been unhappy with Trader Joe's since they entered the Dallas area market some years ago. I love Trader Joe's. Today I shopped at your store located at Belt Line and Preston Road in Dallas.

Dallas County is now in the red alert stage due to a surge in Covid cases. , Clay Jenkins, recently put out the ruling that all retail businesses are required to have their employees wear masks, and that all customers should be masked whether or not they have been vac.

There was no sign at the entrance to that effect. At least 1/4 of the customers were not masked, and the cashier that checked me out had her mask pulled below her chin. I know this is a difficult position for a business but I think you should make more effort to comply.

The cashier - C. Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas try to start a fight with me. When I walked to his register I tell him I have cash and my food stamp card. When he rings up everything he tells me the price.

I tell him the cash is for the he bag's. The food stamps are for a the food. He doesn't know how to separate the non-food from the food. When I tell hm separate the food. He tries to act like I was begin misrespect. He wanted to fight.

The manager was standing right there she touched his arm so that he would stop.

An unmasked employee stocking a food shelf turned her head and sneezed in my direction. The sneeze was giant and loud. Spraying droplets . She had no mask. The delta variant is on the rise. The manager was obnoxious immature and rude.

I asked for his name and contact info to call and speak to headquarters and he refused to write it down or provide a card. He posted to his badge and I said I couldn’t see the name without reading glasses. He announced loudly Michael.

I do not want to shop in a market where health and safety of all is not a priority or be treated rudely when asking about the recent statewide mandates considering the alarming rates of the recent rise and death due to the Delta Virus! I went to trader joes in Saugus with my 3 and 6 year old children. The kids were touching babies by the registers, touching things, getting out of the carriage, like normal kids do. So the manager walks over andsaid”out, get out” that is the most disrespectful thing you can say to a mother with kids.

You don't know what this mom has been going though all day. As a women she couldn't uplifted me and say “its okay, things will get better, they only kids” but instead she chose to kick my children out as if they were Dogs.

On7/21/21, I was trying to pay for my purchase by Chase Bank card. You mashine under # 12, had been rejected my payment about 4 times. I became suspicious, and went to Chase and the bank manager check my card which appeared to be absolutely in a good condition.

Moreover, I was told that your system was not working properly, cannot wread the card. Its gave the client a very hard time. This is not the first time when the cashier was not able to provide proper transaction due to misfunctional system.

I was very happy to return to in store shopping this spring after observing all your Covid safety protections such as, requiring masks, separating customers and assuming control of entry and exiting . Since the spring of 2020 I had been doing delivery service from big grocery chain in St. Louis.

Yesterday I went to the store on a light Tuesday morning. There were no signs requiring masks or separation and yet the dozen people in the store were still wearing masks, When I went to check out, I was the only one in line.

The checker was 75% thru with my purchases when a group of 3 unmasked people came up to the card display where the checker was working. I said "excuse me over and over so I wouldn't have to pass them shoulder to shoulder.

Finally I gave up and hurried past them to check out…

Spoiled item. - Turkey club wrap I bought the item at Marina Del Ray store on 7/4/2021. It was totally spoiled and I disappointed the bad quality on the holiday.

You had a product that was great. Went to the store and they told me the item had been eliminated. That was dumb! So I will have less inclination to visit due to the elimination of this item. Of course being elimiated is someones decision but as customers we never know why!

This product was the box of 10 chocolate chip cookies.

Bought Trader Joe's Macaroni and Cheese. Followed directions. Served to my grandchildren. They tasted it and asked if they had to finish it. I tasted it. ABSOULTUELY NO FLAVOR, no wonder they wouldn't eat it. The Trader Joe's quality was NOT there.

I love shopping at Trader Joe's. We have always been pleased with the variety of merchandise and the helpfulness of the staff. A few days ago, I purchased, for the first and only time, Trader Joe's Macaroni and Cheese. tasteless.

The best thing were the noodles. The powdered cheese packet was awful. I bought it for my grandchildren. My granddaughter took her first taste and asked if she had to finish it. I told her no. I proceeded to taste it to see what the problem was.

The problem was the lack of any taste! Maybe it was a bad batch. the UPC Code was 0050 3228. I will continue shopping at Trader Joe's but WILL NEVER BUY this product again! Thank you, Debbie Potter

Sachi Vazquez is a mate at Trader Joe's who's been stalking and harassing me, along with her brother Derek Vazquez who is a crew member. Deb Shibata is a crew member and is the mother of Sachi Vazquez and Derek Vazquez. They work at multiple stores in the South Bay region. My landlord Ryan Coppenger works at Trader Joe's in Long beach. He's received disturbing phone calls and text messages from Sachi Vazquez regarding my whereabouts, and asking who I've been in contact with.

Derek Vazquez showed up at my residence June 17, 2021 and would not stop knocking at my door. He roamed around the front lawn of my residence for nearly 45 minutes. I would like Trader Joe’s to bring back the Melatonin 5 MICROGRAMS back. I bought the one in the shelf without paying attention to the amount, which is 5 milligrams, and that night I slept for over 12 straight hours and the following day I felt awful.

This could be dangerous for people, and May be for some people is ok but for other it has bad effects. Please BRING BACK the melatonin 5 micrograms !!!!!

This company sell eggs in a container which there is no way to see expiration date the date printed intentionally on a clear plastic glass which is not visible at all unless you go home hold it against a white wall and use a magnifying glass to see it and that's why i purchase expired egg twice so far

I love TJs! I shop at the Plainview NY store and the Westbury NY store.

However many of us in Levittown NY on a community app, would LOVE if a TJS came to Levittown, this is my complaint, that there is no TJs in our community and a surplus of places which went out of business because of the pandemic. I guarantee you if you came to Levittown, you would get thousands of shoppers that live in Levittown and the surrounding communities! Please come!

TJ should be ashamed of themselves. They removed scales from your produce areas, and have priced their loose produce by unit. That is a shady, deceitful move designed to rip off customers by hiding the real price of the item. Everyone checks produce pricing by the pound. That is industry standard - we all know it. This manipulative shady stealing tactic may work on the "ignorant masses", or the "lemmings", - Oh my apologies, "customers", - but there are enough of us who are not morons who see right through this bullshit. The last time I was in a location I requested a scale. I found out quickly what the REAL prices are.

We are long time customers of Trader Joe’s and mostly satisfied with the products. The staff is unique, compares quite favorably to other grocery stores, in knowledge and customer service. We appreciate the opportunity to purchase of pre-made meals. With all that in mind, we recently purchased Chicken Breast Parmigiana with Marinara and mozzarella cheese.

I returned to shopping just last week but with the new directive from the CDC I will not return. Case numbers are still too high in Michigan. Masks should still be required.

I will stop going to TJ's as my primary grocery source. I have been a regular for 20+ years. You handled policies and practices regarding covid-29very well.

It is unwise, irresponsible, and in fact unconscionable that you are no longer requiring masks in stores IF people are vaccinated AND do not require proof of vaccinaton! Really!? You believe all those who refuse to get vaccinated AND have refused to wear masks in general are NOT going to lie, by deception!?

I am so angry that this store that says it’s all about health and well-being have dropped their mask policy and senior hours. How am I to know if the person breathing on me has been vaccinated? Are you going to require that we show our vaccine cards?

I bought Trader Joe's Organic Green Beans. When I was cleaning them this morning, I found a long brunette hair in the beans. My suggestion is to check with the packer to make sure everyone is wearing hair nets or caps when packing.

m. There were scores of young people throughout the store. When I asked the cashier if senior hours had been discontinued, she checked and said no, whereas, as I said, there were many, many more young people in the store shopping close together.

She said she would say something to her manager. I then asked the person outdoors who was monitoring the situation and was advised by him that as long as the customers are at permissible levels, they let non-seniors in. I find this to be unacceptable and think that the young folks have figured out how to avoid waiting in line.

As a senior, I am immunocompromised and was quite uncomfortable walking through the store with scores of young people close by. Either have a senior hour or don’t.

Last week I was shopping at the Trader joes at 345 S Lake Ave in Pasadena CA and I got to the cashier and just as she is taking my basket one of the other guy employees dismisses her and takes her place. I think, it's her break time.

I go later that week to the same store and, the same thing but I notice that he is helping then talking to another cashier on the other side of the store then going from cashier to cashier then coming real fast to the cashier and dismissing her. I need for the corporate office to be aware of the discriminatory practice I witnessed while shopping at Trader Joe’s today. A customer (white or at least with blond hair) in front of me was offered a cart when she went in and I (proud Asian ethnicity) was ignored by 2 door greeters (caucasian in origin) - they were not by any mean busy but were profiling the customers.

I politely greeted them but still was not offered a cart so I went ahead and grabbed one myself. This is outrageous and I don’t condone such discriminatory action, especially during the recent anti-asian sentiment. This is not the first time, but one of the many occasions, that has happened at Trader Joe’s but enough is enough.

I do not agree with your mask policy. For people who have severe asthma. We that cannot wear a mask. I have been going to this store almost daily being that i am a manager in the same plaza for the past 3 years.

I was approached aggressively 2 separate times about my face shield. The first time was about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Not only did I not feel welcome but supper embarrassed. Traveling to TJs is a one hour trip, each way. Every visit, since Coronavirus, I have waited on line to get into your store. Ridiculous! I have walked away from your store three times because of that. Once inside the store, everything is fine.

It is when you get to the counter, that I see what your problem is. WHAT is the point of having people push their cart to the counter and then having them stand 6 ft back? Only to go to the counter and pay, 5 minutes later.

You keep pushing the people back which is evidently making lines longer, which in turn is delaying the entrance. Everybody has a mask on. If masks work, then why push us back another 6 ft which is the ripple effect down the isles. Rethink the stupidity.

I love TJ's. The clerks are helpful and pleasant, the products are excellent. Have never had spoiled items. Only item out of stock was during the height of the wuhan virus and that was Balvenie Scotch. Understandable. TJs is far superior to other gracery stores.

My sister and I walk into Trader Joe's without masks. The manager asks tells us we have to wear masks and my sister tells him we have health conditions. He snaps at her and says that she doesn't need to vouch for me.

I went in earlier this PM (05/07/20) to purchase items and met for the first time a very rude and obnoxious cashier. This happened in the 445 Gold Street Trader's Joe, Brooklyn, NY. The individual name is S, Kimberly was very loud, unpleasant and sarcastic.

After working a hard and extended long day at the hospital I was rushing to get home and rest. I moved to the side of the trolley and told her the item she was taking up was for another individual.

She barked at me that I should not be here and must move back from her. I said why are you speaking so loud and why are you shouting at me. She stated " I was born loud and that is the way I speak to people who don't listen to me.

During this terrible Covid 19 time, TJ Doran not honor healthcare workers. Other stores honor their dedication , commitment and the risk they take by allowing them to enter the store by prioritizing them. That’s the least they can do.

My husband and I came into your store location at 3800 Bridgeport Way West. University Place Washington 98466. We were being racially profiled by one of your store managers named Matt M. We were being watched during our shopping experience as if we were stealing.

Customer Service should be the number 1 priority . I will no longer patronize any trader joes.

I have been purchasing from Trader Joes for years and find the same problems occur over and over. A new product comes in, everyone raves about it, you get used to purchasing there and then it's just gone. You discontinue carrying it.

The last three things were Gluten free rolls that were better than anywhere else, Trader Joe's gluten free Oat, cranberry Flax seed cookies and your Triple Ginger Molasses U bake cookies. If iI could find them elsewhere it wouldn't be so bad but as the only carrier I'm just out of luck.

I know that Gluten allergic people are in the minority but if we find a place that carries something good we spread the word and are quite faithful to them. I'm very disapointed and may not keep shopping there. It's worse to find a good product and loose it than to not find…

I have been a customer of T J's for 19 years at.the El Camino, Sunnyvale store. However, the service has declined over the past few years. The mnagement staff has caused a decline in the personnel which has not been positive. Employees seem oppressed, as opposed to friendly and like a family. Nee Nee employees are obviously their past employyes from other locations. This has caused blatant animosity of the employees which were already their. I personally have experienced issues with newer managemnent. Customers are not happy, and employees are not happy.

Your store has been a favorite because of the family freindly environment. Maybe sensitivity training is NEEDED.

When buying two bottles of wine today, while being over 21, I was refused at the checkout. Apparently neither a US issued VISA, European passport or European driver's license would be sufficient. I shop at 2 of your stores. My complaint is about your Trader Joe's Almond Butter Granola 12 oz bag. I have bought probably about 100 of these bags because they are fantastic. My issue is about 1/4 of the bag at the bottom are all crumbs.

I believe it's because of the packaging. Wondering if you would consider putting in a box, like cereal? I feel that would help preserve the bottom granola in the plastic bags. Thank you.

To:Complaint department I come to TJ's once or more a week (near my work) to get things for myself and my staff. (they have 30 min lunch time so I can do things as a manager they can't) I get along with most of the staff except one really grumpy manager.

My payments are in check so I remind the cashier not to hit the credit card button. If they do the amount is not recoverable on the screen. The cashiers are of a good nature and smile, but the manager looks at this as a threat to his staff.

I have avoided making purchases when he is around just to avoid his caustic attitude. Today as I made my purchase by check as I was leaving he told me "not to harass his staff because I will soon be on my way out:" I believe permanently banned from this location.
