Someone backed into my Subaru car, scratching the back fender and loosening the fender, a hit and run incident..

I took it to Maaco on THursday.

The rep gave me an estimate of $504, told me I could pick it up on Tuesday, and called Enterpise to get me a rental car..

One of the servicemen then called me into the garage and explained that to do an expert job would be much more expensive, but he could just put in a screw to secure the fender and repaint it.

I had originally decided not to involve insurance, but on Friday morning I called to ask if it was possible for me to proceed with the more expensive repair and put it through my insurance.

I was told the work was already finished and I could pick up my car.

I dropped my vehicle off at Maaco store #2308 on 3/8/2020 and was finally able to pick my vehicle up on 4/27/2020.

They told me it would take 10 days!

On four different occasions they had to re-work my vehicle.

On my first inspection of the vehicle there was lots of paint drippage, paint tape was still on the vehicle, and pores in the paint.

This was obviously a rush job and they thought I would be ok with the poor quality and customer service.

One of the managers named Bill said that the pores in the paint was from my bad original paint which was a lie and I refused to take the vehicle back and had them re-work.

There was nothing wrong with my original paint.

was quoted 4k for a paint job. got the paint job, truck was returned to me with paint flaking off, engine wouldn't start, all my power steering fluid drained.

I was charged 6k for that job.

I filed a complaint, they told me to return the truck. they charged me 2k for the redo of the paint job.

8k in, my truck now had problems with the dash lights, the turn signal, and the radio wouldn't turn on.

I told them to fix it. they tapped into my brake lights and rewired my entire truck incorrectly, plus they broke my steering column. charged me 600 bucks for that.

I was returned a truck with a nice paint job, but no working lights, wires all over my truck pouring from the dash and where the radio should have been, and my dash pulled out placed on my seat.

I was at first going to give them a one star rating .... this is the Maaco in Greensboro NC.... but my wife explained that she told them to keep the cost down and she selected to not do alot of the repairs that I would have done.

Once I met with Randy and we went over the estimate, I chose to have some of the repair work done that was not originally supposed to be done when my wife brought them my truck, So he apologized and simply charged me to get the additional work done.

ABOUT CAR Spoke with Gordon at maaco regarding the scratch on my windshield that was caused after they made repairs on Monday of this week.

I wanted general nicks and dents removed and a new paint job..

They left the fasteners off the front so the next day I could heard this banging in the front of the car.

Yesterday I looked under the front and the screws under the car were never tightened..

There was a scratch on my door that they just painted over rather the buff it out.

I returned the car to have them fix the front and the scratch but now that I have been looking more at the car there are so many little nicks and dents they just painted over..but that was why I brought the car in in the first place..

The paint job is a mess they got paint everywhere..

I cleaned my lights yesterday..

I had to go back to have the weather stripping replaced because they botched that up..

Macco flat my car tire and when I politely asked to be reimbursed the manager became aggressive, refused to reimburse me for damages, when I presented them with receipt for repairs, the manager became even more belligerent making racial slurs calling me “You People”.

This is the last and final time I will ever go to a Maaco location to have my vehicle repaired.

Your business shouldn't be in business any more and I strongly advise you start from scratch to figure out how you can be more successful.

My husbands car was involved in an accident when a deer hit us, and we have (should say had) a friend who runs one of your locations and we trusted him to repair our vehicle.

Our vehicle has not been repaired the way it should, there are so many scratches inside of our vehicle that we've never seen before.

The windows from inside of the vehicle are all scratched because an amateur used a dirty rag to wipe them!

I asked for one of the pricing jobs posted on the wall.

He said that it does not include the roof and a minivan will cost 400 more.

I looked at the sign again and it said nothing about the roof or about the size of the vehicle.

This is 100% bait and switch and false advertising.

He price quoted me for repainting two doors a price that was more than paining the entire car.

I took my car to macco in lansing michigan and recived the worst piant job i ever seen in my whole entire life.

It is really hard to explain because they did everything wrong .

They told me it would only take one week it took almost nine weeks.

The body of my truck was not painted at all .

The only thing they did do was shame the bottom door and around the fender weld on the passenger side in the back after two week the areas was rusted back though.

They did not remove the old decals that were all ready on the truck which we had agreed to do that's how i know the truck was never painted.

At the very in they tried to say that took the decal off and put them back on which only made it worst.

I am a victim of Maaco dirty business practices.

Estimator Paul Veenendaal set me up with a paperwork, and take advantage on it. play favoritism because I am an English Second Language Citizen.

He asked me to signed up the paperwork which I did not know whats all about.

After finished painting rear bumper find out the color didn't match and it is awfully rough.

Paul asked me to pay another $250 to fixed the error they make at first they already charge $458.

24 General total is $708 for painting the rear bumper only.

This is a Dishonest money Scheme.

I hope there is a bigger Institution to investigate this matter.

C.for my 2006 BMW job was to paint hood , roof and rear spoiler.

Spoiler and roof was okay but hood is cloudy and grainy looks dull not like base clear coat.

I took my car in to your shop in NE Calgary for an estimate.

The guy doing the estimate said they could do the minor body work and paint the car but wanted the painter to confirm.

The painter cane out and looked at the car and said well the flaking on the hood would be a problem.

I said look quote me on scuffing the whole car fill in the couple small dents prime the entire car will that make it easier for you and eliminate your concerns ?

He replied oh ya no problem.

Then he goes in and brings a woman she says we can’t paint your car we are short staffed and it would take 6 months .

Then she suggested painting only the body panels not the roof or bumpers.

I took my 1965 Plymouth Belvedere to local Maaco on 3-18-19.

I spent 2 months prior cleaning, waxing and rebuilding engine compartment and when I took the car in I completely stripped car of all chrome, bumpers, windshield, back glass, windows, door handles, seats etc.

The car was a shell when I delivered it on a trailer.

I picked up the car by trailer on 4-10-19.

On 4-11-19 I inspected car and found several issues.

There were paint runs, painted over rust, overspray in engine compartment and hood was not painted on either side, the door jambs were only painted about a foot on the rocker.

There is trash in paint all over vehicle.

I called Maaco the same day and complained about these issues and was told to bring the car back and it would be fixed, I even marked spots with blue tape…

Car not completely painted.

Been back 3 times.

They are doing a rush job.

Now have scrub marks on new paint.

They painted the front piece molding originally that was not to be painted.took up their second time to be repaired and they still did not get all the paint out and you can tell that it was scufffed with a Scotch-Brite pad and it looked awful.

Gentleman told me to wait two weeks and bring it back to get to wet sand the runs out of the paint..

Gave specific instructions to remove molding pc, they did not and now there's a black paint and bubbles everywhere and PC's painted that should have never been touched.

To get overdpray out of fender wells where it was freshly painted is now scuffed and down to the black.

I have an issue with Maaco of Lansing MI, i dropped of a car April 24th of 2018, plus i gave a $1500 deposit, it needed 2 doors replaced and paint work...it is now May 6th of 2019 and i haven't gotten my car back yet...i was told 3-4 weeks for the work and its a year later, and its still not done...

I spent the last 2 days cleaning up my truck. more than half the time was trying to fixing stuff like scratches on the top of all 4 door from your guys dragging air or electrical hoses over them while trying to make the roof look respectable.

I still haven't got all of the scratches out.

I have not been able to get the gray primer off the top of the right front door or the over spray off of the left pillar between the front and rear doors or the over spray on the left Nerf bar.

This is my second complaint in regards to this issue..

This matter has worsen in the communication area in my opinion, actually no communication on the behalf of management to me at all.

I’ve reached out in concerns of the work begin done to my vehicle, I mean no one has taken the time to inform me of the status at all.

I’m here now(April 25)after being told again that this week would be the completion( about my 3rd or 4th time given a new date)& nothing has changed.

They painted my bumper black instead of white, I was told it would be corrected in three business days by Denise (manager) when I came to pick my car up, the white paint didn’t match my car and bumper had beads in paint job, very disappointing again, I was told by Denise we can fix it in 5 days, came to pick car up bumper has missing screws, chip paint, beads in paint job, grill not mounted right on bumper, my car is still at Macao in Tennessee on Mt.
