Hello, My name is Steven Brown. My claim number is 0766939763. I am an Allstate customer for now, but I will more than likely be switching if I can't get someone to refund me for having to pay out of pocket for a claim. I was told by my agent I would be fully covered and there would be no issues. I got the estimate from my auto shop, Performance Auto, and I took it to my agent Curtis Wofford and he made a copy. He said the adjuster would work with the shop from there and that's all I had to do. I asked before I put it in the shop would I be fully covered because I'm on disability and can't afford to pay out of pocket. Curtis and Austin Wofford, my agents, both said I would be good and no issues. I wouldn't have put it in the shop had I have known I'd be out $577.99 of my own money because I don't have that just to spend since l'm on limited income from disability. My shop called me three different times saying the adjuster wasn't meeting the price he was asking. He walked the adjuster through everything, and he said the adjuster always came back short. This last time, the adjuster Byron Woods told my shop, my agent, and me he was done with this car, done with this claim, and he wasn't putting anymore ming money on it. My shop told me it was still $577.99 short and I had to pay before I could get my only car that I need out. I have called my agents Curtis and Austin. I've talked to several chat people on the Allstate website, and I have talked to Byron Woods, but no one will refund me for something I was told would be fully covered. Byron Woods has said I chose things I didn't. All I did was get the estimate take it to my agent, drop the car off at the shop and let Allstate work with my shop. But somehow I'm still being charged and had to pay out of pocket for this claim. I would not have put it into the shop at all had Allstate been upfront about me having to pay out of pocket. I'm disabled I need all the money I have for bills, and my medicine. Please can anyone help me get this made right and refund me fully. My number is 256-566-1913 please let me know. I really need my money back to get my basic needs and housing paid this month. Because I had to take it and pay this claim. Byron Woods, would not listen and just told me no more money. My agent Curtis told me to write a letter stating how dissatisfied I am with this claim, the adjuster, how I was treated and this whole experience. Please someone make this right.
