My pregnant wife and I had an extremely upsetting experience at the Tim Hortons located at 41276 Ford Rd. Earlier today, around 5 PM, we were accidentally double charged for our order. When we politely requested a refund, the employee—who appeared to be the manager—became hostile and made racial remarks toward my wife. She even told my wife that she hoped she would die. Exact statement: “I hope you die, pregnant lady”
When I went inside to ask why such a comment was made, the manager refused to process our refund, threatened us, and then called the police on my wife, our 3-year-old child, and me. The entire situation was humiliating and deeply concerning. Fortunately, I began recording the encounter once I felt threatened, though I wish my wife had been able to record her part of the incident as well.
This level of unprofessionalism and discriminatory behavior is shocking, especially from a well-known coffee chain like Tim Hortons. I intend to pursue legal action against this branch and the manager involved.
P.S. looks like I am not the only one who has dealt with this situation at this branch, please review at their what other people say about their employees on Google

Despite being loyal customers for over 10 years. Your manager Amy Sexton called police on me, my wife and my kid. This kind of behavior is definitely not acceptable under legal consumer rights and I would demand you or your team to take an immediate action. I have filed a complaint to corporate (case # 4419919) and I have reports of corporate not coming to a resolution.
Attaching a video that I recorded after my wife was thrown out by insult. I remained very calm but you should review the behavior of your employee, feel free to view recordings from the camera.
