So at the albertsons in tehachapi ca, on march 27th I told my daughters to go inside albertsons and wait for me to pick them up I was only about 15 min away and it was freezing and raining and it was dark. So for thier safty I told them to wait inside for me, the girls quietly went inside and sat in 2 chairs by the pharmacy. They were not being loud and not touching anything, when a woman claiming to be a manager approached them and asked if they needed help with something to which they said they were fine and just waiting to be picked up. The woman said well you can leave, they were intimidated and tried to explain that they had walked there to get a couple of things but when they were done saw it had started storming. The woman dismissed them and said I am the manager and you can leave, you can't wait in here and as they stood up to walk out she said I can walk you out if you would like. Now I understand you probably don't want people loitering or what not but these 12 year old girls were not making a fuss. I spend over a $1000 a week in that store on groceries and I feel like because they weren't buying anything else and had already paid for what they got that this woman discriminated against them and put them in harms way. She was very rude and unprofessional. I thought albertsons would be safe for them and now I see that all they care about is money, well if something isn't done about it then I will never shop there again. Respect should be given to all not just adults with wads of money.
