I like the television (75" smarttv) however, I do not like being forced to start up with an ad that I have to dismiss or with Vizio watchfree+. in the settings there is an option to start up on last input, but this is ignored by Vizio as long as there is a Wi-Fi connection present. the only way around having to watch their ads or startup on ota channel input is to disable the wifi connection. this is ridiculous. what I will probably do is disable the wifi and go back to using my Amazon fire box, which has all of the apps and a few that watchfee+ doesn't have. it would have been more convenient for me to use watchfree+ and I would, except for this startup issue. when I turn on the TV I want to decide where it starts and I want that point to be ota tv channels. not for Vizio to show me ads.
