Hey Chipotle, we need to talk. I just saw a post from a customer being charged a whopping $52 for what should’ve been a modest meal for two. I get it everything’s a little more expensive lately. But $52? For two casual bowls and drinks? That crosses the line from “a bit pricey” to “outrageous.” You’re supposed to be the go-to for fast, affordable Mexican-style food, not a place where you need to break out your wallet like it’s a fancy dinner spot. It’s disappointing. People expect a reasonable value when they walk in. Instead, they walk out feeling ripped off. It makes me wonder how much has changed behind the scenes. Are you cutting quality? Skimping on toppings? Or just watching the money pile up on customers? I’m all for businesses staying afloat, but there’s a dignity to fairness and charging that much for a couple of burrito bowls feels unfair. Not sure I’ll be coming back if this becomes the new norm.
