I applied for a job online (I live in Michigan) and I was contacted by a person in California. Why California (I could not understand anything he said)?? I went ahead and submitted all my information (a lot of personal information including my passport) to the email in California and I was told I would be contacted by another person. I was ignored by the other person so I went to the local office in my town. Well, they keep the doors locked at all times and they refuse to answer their phones. I tried again to reach out to the "new" person and all he said was he was waiting on my background check. That's crap, it does not take over a week for a background check. I waited a few more days and tried to reach out to him again, I got an auto reply email that said he no longer could answer emails or join any meetings. What?! That does not make any sense whatsoever. This whole experience has been the most ridiculous experience I've ever had in my life!! You wanted my upmost personal information and then you just sit on it?! The other worse part about this, you're still advertising jobs on Monster.com, the jobs that I applied for weeks ago! I'm angry, upset, frustrated and so on. I want answers as to why you would treat anyone like this and to why you allow the local branch to lock their doors and not answer the phones. The local branch just needs to be shut down and not allowed to post anymore jobs. I saw the Google reviews and I know I'm not the only person who has had an issue with Adecco.
