My name is Abdul Latif, and I have been working with Tim Hortons for over seven years in one of its international branches. I am writing this complaint because I have noticed unfair differences in salaries based on nationality. I discussed this issue with a Human Resources manager in my location, but nothing changed. Later, a training manager told me that his brother works in Canada and “the same system applies there.” This was very disappointing. I believe discrimination based on nationality is unethical and not something a company like Tim Hortons should allow—especially since it goes against Canadian labor and human rights laws. I work hard every day and take pride in my job. All I ask is fairness and transparency for everyone—regardless of where they’re from. Thank you for taking this seriously.
