Rachel Dickey (Yelp's representative) offered Yelp's service to get my business more jobs. From the very beginning I said NO THANKS. She approached my negative stand from many sides.

Finally, when I heard from her that if there wasn't any business completed all the way through Yelp there wasn't going to be any charges I accepted but with the condition that Yelp respected the agreement. NO BUSINESS NO CHARGES.

Yelp continued to call and harass my wife about her business for a couple of years. She got another call and I being her husband had and open mind and listened to the sales pitch. I agreed to a 1 month marketing plan for a max of $100 dollar.

The sales person walked us through the process over an hour and a half. She said she had applied all these free promotions to the account and that the max we would pay was $7 per click on our add and ensured us the traffic would get us so much additional business. She was a liar.

A month later we had a bill for $320 and immediately cancelled. We had to call in because they do not make it easy. Disputed with Credit card company and lost. So we are out 320 for actually 2 clicks.

I used Yelp reservations for a San Francisco restaurant, Rocco's, which Yelp listed as open on Thanksgiving Day, 11/28/19. When I called the restaurant to confirm my reservation for two at 5:00 pm, I was told by the hostess that this restaurant has never been open on Thanksgiving. So here we sit without Thanksgiving dinner.

Prime Tree and Landscaping, owner, Lewis Gerry Mobley. Hired to paint 3 porches and landscaping. Sloppy job with the painting, very thin. Dripped stain down my mosaic up risers and said they couldn't get it off. I went out there with a straight razor, scraped off the tile and painted, with a small brush the stained grout.

I was told to lay my 100 bulbs where I wanted them and they would bury them before they put the mulch down. I went outside and they were putting the mulch over the unplanted bulbs! Mr. 00 worth of sod that he would put down the next week.

Within the past two weeks 2 customers (son and mother) came in the salon and were very happy with their service. They asked where they asked what site would be best to post comments and I told them YELP. I could have recommended they post on Google and now I wish I had because your company took their posts down. I understand that your company uses a algorithm...I get all of that but this time it is simply wrong. Further we had 5 reviews before I suggested YELP and after my recommendation we had 8 and now we have only 3. What happened? We are very discouraged.

I created a Yelp account in 2012 for my small business, since then I've had 17 reviews from 2013-present, all "5-stars". Of these 17 reviews only 3 are being shown, and none of the ones I just noted above were accepted, though each had their other reviews approved.

I had a problem. I submitted a high recommendation post for Key Home Sales & Management because they did a great job renting and selling my townhouse. I posted it, then remembered my sell date of my house was 1 day different.

I saw Yelp allows you to edit your post up to 30 days. I thus made an edit of the date and adjusted a few minor phrases. The post content remained basically the same with high recommendations.. When I saw my edited post live, it now appeared with a trash bin symbol instead of a flag.

Disliking that trash can symbol following my post, I tried removing my post completely and wrote a new post with basically the same content. Now Yelp has barred me from using their site. Now my name appears at the Key Home review site with no post.

I own a business, two months ago I received a charge to my credit card from Yelp, for advertising. I called to ask about the charges as I had not posted an ad. I was told there was an ad the previous month and that's what the charges were for.

Furthermore she told me there were two other ongoing ads for my business and that those bills had not yet been charged. I told her to STOP any advertising that I had not authorized any advertising. She assured me that all advertising would be stopped and that she would send a notice to billing that I did not approve or place these ads.

She said that I would not be charged and everything had been stopped. Last month I received a credit card statement showing that Yelp had again charged my card, this time for over $900. I again called spoke to a rep…

I called the Yelp customer service line I found listed online. I had to phone them three separate times because their customer service representatives hung up on me each time before telling me off for not going through their web based customer service channels.

A company that doesn't care to invest in their customers by providing them help with a real customer service exchange, in real time, via a phone call doesn't deserve to be a company. I hear the review board to be on is Google's.

I will be switching to that platform indefinitely.

I had made a negative review about R.P.M. Collision and Service in Laurie MD back in July of 2017. This review talked about the how nothing is fixed correctly beyond the body damage to the car and we had to take it another shop to fix all the other stuff that was destroyed. I also said we would never go back. I just spoke to a male rep (CSR - 8:36 am MST, January 2, 2019) about the comments that were removed from our account. After hearing for several minutes how their software removed our two stellar reviews from our Yelp page, I explained to the CSR that we are a very new business and need all the positive reviews we can receive, I also asked If I could somehow put them back on the page, and

If I could give yelp Zero stars I would. They are a terrible company to try an advertise with. I experienced problems with my account and their answer was to tell me they have never experienced my issue before and there is nothing they can do about it.

Yelp used to be a great place to read reviews, now they bury all the great information and surface the negative complaints and rants. What gives Yelp?
