Took my car to replace the back windshield.

As they prep the car they noticed they had the wrong part so I was told they had to reschedule me.

They scratched the car when they were preparing the car.

I came back a few days later to talk to the manager and file a complaint about what happened and to find a resolution.

The manager was not friendly at all.

I was told to leave the shop, they called the police on me and was told I couldn't come back.

The police report states that no threats were made and nothing happened.

So why did the manager have to call the cops on me?

To intimidate me?

So that they would not be held accountable for what they did to my car?

Because of the color of my skin?

Maybe a combination of all of it.

Satellite charged me an additional $79.

50 for windshield wipers that I did not want.

They put an additional second charge of $79.

50 on my credit card.

I own a 2023 XT5 Cadillac , during the winter storm my windshield cracked .

I called my insurance company and Safelite was recommended because Country insurance has a contract with them for windshield repairs, They sent out a tech he was asked if he knew what he was doing because I have sensors in the wind shield and a camera on the rear view mirror.

When the tech completed the install , he told me he test drove my vehicle , I never seen the vehicle move, had the same mileage on the vehicle when I parked for the evening.

He left I went to my vehicle started it up and the camera was not working and the rearview mirror was very hot to the touch, My heads up display wasn't working along with other sensors, My hood has scratches on it.

I had an appointment in Everett WA.in May after waiting a week to replace a windshield.

I showed up and was told they were too busy.

I rescheduled a mobile appointment for a week later.

The glass did not arrive and was rescheduled for August 14th.

The tech took out my windshield and said he couldn't replace it because of a VERY MINOR AMOUNT OF RUST AT THE TOP and left me without a windshield.

I spent 1hr grinding the rust off.

STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH for Safellte as the tech's manager said no after another week of waiting for his decision I used West Coast Glass and got the windshield done properly the next week finally on Sept 11th.

I assume you'll just ignore this rating and not show it your potential customers.

If could, I'd give y'all a 0.

12/15/23 Contacted Safelight for windshield repair on my 2020 BMW 330-i.

Instructed that the order may take a day or two to obtain the part.

12/16/23 Contacted Safelight for an update.

Instructed that the part had not yet been located.

12/19/23 Received an email from Safelight setting appointment for 12/26/23 at 9:00 AM.

12/18/23 Contacted Safelight for confirmation and instructions for my appointment for the next day.

Safelight instructed me that they at first could not find any such appointment as it had been removed.

The agent scheduled a new appointment however the Freehold office changed the appointment to 12/26/2023 between 1:30-5:00 12/25/23 Received an email assigning a tech for my appointment on 12/26/23.

My molding was never put back on after a windshield that I waited a month for, I was told it flew off, it didn’t, and if it did it would be the fault of the technician, I’m not satisfied with the service and have to spend money to get a piece that I had on my vehicle when I arrived to the south Philly location on Washington ave, I will get in touch with the better business bureau and continue to let everyone know that do not patron this location, the experience has been a headache from the beginning.

Our technician came to our house to repair small dings in the windshields of both of our cars.

He did NOT give us anything to sign or go over anything whatsoever.

He simply began working on our cars.

After he left, one of the windshields began cracking and spiderwebbed out from the tiny dings and left a 3ft long crack.

We called and told them what happened and they scheduled us to bring the car in the following day.

They never once told us we would be responsible for the cost, as it was their fault.

When we picked up the car they charged us our deductible of $250 even though we were never told the work was not guaranteed.

We would not have done any of this if we knew this up front.

They refused to give us our car back until we paid even though we said we were not responsible and…

Safelite is a company that has precisely zero communication and organizational skills.

The local store in my area has a chronic problem with ensuring that parts will arrive on time for scheduled appointments.

I had scheduled a replacement for a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, and I was so nervous about making sure the right part was selected since there was a few options.

I tried to call the national number only to be bounced around on hold until I got someone in a call center 4 states away and they couldn’t figure out how to get me in touch with my local store.

I broke down and made time to go to the store location.

The staff were kind and very helpful, looked over my vehicle and knew exactly what to order, then scheduled my appointment for 3 days later.

I had a chip repaired on my windshield through my insurance, GEICO.

Repair was done incorrectly as resin did not fill entire chip.

I told technician the repair didn't seem right.

He said it 'should be fine'.

I wasn't satisfied so I called another technician from Safelite to take a look the same day.

He said the repair wasn't done right and likely won't hold, but nothing can be done once the repair is made.

He said - 'well I guess you will know once the temperatures change'.

Well, 5 months later I have a huge crack from end of my windshield to the other.

Neither Safelite nor Geico will do anything so now I am out $500 (my deductible) to replace the windshield.

Do not use - don't stand behind their work!

I took off from work to get my window replace.

They Call Me 2 minutes before my schedule appointment to tell me that is going to have to be rescheduled because the part that was scheduled to be here on today won't be here until 3 to 4 days later.

I asked the lady for a discount because that puts me in a bind and she told me I couldn't get one because I already had one, which I went and found myself online.

So now I took a whole day of work for nothing.

I will be reporting does complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well

I am extremely upset, i scheduled a windshield replacement at 1:30 today saturday, February 29, 2020.

They call me 10 minutes before I arrive to tell me they did not have my windshield and would have to reschedule.

I drove all the way from Lancaster,SC to Concord, NC, which is almost 2 hours.

This is very unprofessional, unacceptable, unreliable service.

I wasted my time and gas and i am just very disappointed in your service.

I had appointment with safelite today Tuesday, 10-8-19, hours 1-6pm.

I have been waiting all afternoon.

No one showed, no called, it's after 6pm and I;m unable to reach ANYONE.

There is not a 24 hour number, every number telling me office are closed and called back in the morning WO# 01812-860204 I am stuck at home, unable to drive my car because i'm afraid I will get a ticket for broken windshield on driver's side.

I WILL NOT SIT AT HOME ALL DAY TOMORROW.

THAT IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Had my wife take my care to be repaired at store 10th st topeka ks., because it had been vandilaized oct 31.

Upon reciving the car back it was parked due tonit being an collector item.

When nove 4 came i went to deive car and noted white substance smeard on my black door panel.

And rhen noticed door panel was not installed properly and could not be open from the inside.

At that time i had my wife Malinda pagels call the xompany and report the issue.

The ask ro have car brought back for inspection.

I had a appointment today between 8-12 and was told he was in Jamestown NY and it looked like rain my father lives in Jamestown and said it's very sunny out no cloud in the sky and I live in Fredonia by and he would have to get to my mother's windshield next week !!

This is inexcusable by all means I took time off from my job to be here to have the window fixed and now I'm getting the run around !!

If he doesn't want to do the job maybe he should look for different employment

They did a horrible job on my windsheild replacement.

Parts removed from my car, not replaced.

Poor workmanship.

I had an independent body shop inspect the car.

They agreed that the windshield was very poorly installed.

I then drove the car to the Safelite shop and had the manager inspect the workmanship.

He noted the poor workmanship, but completely tap danced about fixing it correctly How do I contact corporate headquarters about this?

I definitely am not going to let this matter drop.

I do not want this Safelite location doing any further repairs .

I want an independent installer or another Safelite.

I certainly don't appreciate the brush off attitude of the manager.

I submitted my complaint via online early this morning and have not heard back.

This morning, June 6th, 2019 between 8:15 a.m and 8:45 a.m., as I was traveling to work, I first encountered one of your vans (#18224) driven by a driver whom I strongly suggest you have tested for alcohol and/or illicit drug consumption.

This driver was driving on the twin span in Slidell, LA at an extreme high rate of speed, causing other drivers to immediately switch lanes in order to avoid collisions.

The twin span is over a large body of water.

As a result, by the grace of God, this driver, who was driving erratically, as though he was impaired, could have easily caused others to land in the lake.

Moreover, he continued from there to 510 driving erratically at high rates of speed.

I went in to Safelite to have one chip repaired.

The repair person saw another small chip that was not splintered and decided to fix it too.

The finished product of making the small chip splinter and the original chip was a crappy job as well.

When I called back to complain and to have it fixed I was told there was noting more they could do I would have to replace the windshield completely.

Is safelite going to pay for a new windshield?

It was just poor workmanship and I didn't even asked to have the small chip repaired.

It's right in my vision line so now I'm worse off then before.

If the repair person can't do it right then e should have said so.

The small chip is now splintered and it wasn't before.

I want this fixed.

Someone from your facility had my car towed from your facility located at 1306 s.

University Little Rock Arkansas on May 24th and I feel it was unjustified.

I had my dodge pickup truck towed there on May 12th because it needed a back window put in and I was told that they would look at it and order the window and give me a call.

I received a call from someone there letting me know that my truck was blocking two lanes and i needed to come up there and correct it.

When I went to move it a few days later i found out they had it towed.

I do alot of business with your company as well as refer alot of customers to your business.

I have never experienced anything like this from them before and I'm very upset.

Been trying to have a window replaced since 4-26-19.

I can handle the window not being able to be found by Safelite bc you only allow to go to certain vendors but I cant stand being drug around and miscommunication.

I was told on 5/30/19 that my window was in transit and today being told they couldn’t find a window.

This has been going in for 5 weeks.

The wrong window/wrong tint was delivered at week 1 then rescheduled only to be cancelled on.

Your customer service stinks and I will never use your company again!!

After a turkey tookout my windshield - car undriveable, on Fri 19th Apr, was told that a new windshield could not be replaced until Mon due to the holiday weekend. [2016 Ram 1500] Monday at 3:30 pm still hadn't heard from Safelite, so I called the local office. "The guy called in, so won't be coming - will Friday the (26th) work?" After I complained that this was my work truck, and I had already lost 3 days work, the lady told me she would try get the other guy to come out....
