The ridiculous hoops they require physicians and patients to jump through in order to obtain specialty medication for debilitating illness is unbelieve. They should be ashamed. The physician who writes a prescription is required to recertify it every single month.
It's medication taken on a weekly basis and will have to for the foreseeable future. They DO NOT COMMUNICATE THIS to the patient or the physician during the time the prescription is submitted and NO ONE CONTACTS THE PATIENT OR PROVIDER to advise this ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK is required to fill medication.
I've missed doses and my physician's office (two separate providers have had to do this for this medication) are frustrated too. Causing people stress and then putting their hand out for payment. Unfortunately - this is my…
