A privately held American firm known as FJ Management Inc., formerly known as Flying J Inc., is engaged in the operation and management of convenience stores, oil and refining operations, and banking and insurance industries. It is a joint owner of Pilot Flying J and Maverik convenience stores, Pilot Corporation, and Berkshire Hathaway, among other businesses. In addition to the Big West Oil refinery, the Transportation Alliance Bank, Transportation Clearing House, and the Pilot/Flying J travel center network are all owned by FJ Management, which has its headquarters in Ogden. Various descendants of Reuel Call and Osborne Call are still involved in the operations of both companies.
