I am an owner-host and have not received payments for ANY bookings, despite many emails sent by me through the Extranet, and many phone calls to customer service.

My emails through the Extranet are continually misunderstood and inadequately replied to.

Currently I am owed almost $500 for past bookings.

I am very unconfident about receiving payment for future bookings.

I am beyond frustration now.

It is unacceptable that Booking.com has received payments from my guests but still not passed them on to me.

Customer service tell me they have marked my case URGENT, but still no effective action from Finance.

Do human beings actually work there?

I booked a hotel in December 2023 with booking.com.

I made sure the booking had a free cancellation option as I needed to know from the hotel if their restaurant was open the day we arrived at it was January 1st.

The booking.com page specifically said the restaurant was open on the day of our booking but when I made the booking I put in the special requests box a request to book a table for 2 people at 7pm. on January 1st 2024.

Normally hotels reply about a reservation.

I received an email confirming my check-in time was ok but I didn't get a reply about the restaurant.

So the next day I both emailed and messaged them and still no reply.

The hotel finally informed me that the restaurant actually wasn't open on January 1st, however this information was sent after the free cancellation…

I booked an AirAsia return flight from Bali (Denpasar) to Labuan Bajo through Booking.com.

I tried to change the return flight from Labuan Bajo.

I accessed the Contact us in Customer Care (chat box) but was advise to call to the Netherlands or Sydney office.

When trying to call both offices an automated response advised me to enter my customer reference number and pin, this I entered a few times correctly but was told that the booking cannot be found.

I sent a customer request 10 times to please check my booking reference so that I can enter this correctly on the automated telephone call but every time was told to call the customer care telephone number.

I kept on trying to change my flight for more than 10 days without any succes, just getting the same automated response.

There was a double payment made for two identical flight bookings.

This was done in December 2023.

I have called booking.com many times for clarification and a refund.

They sent me an email on December 13, saying that saving the refund has been made and will take 3-5 days.

Today is January 22, and still no refund.

I called again, and they told me that the refund was not found and that they needed more time.

I do not know when I will get my refund, and no manger or supervisor will speak to me.

I made a five days reservation at Serenade Punta Cana via booking.com in September 2023 which clearly stated free cancellation/Modification before 25th November 2023.two days later, I tried to modify the booking to four days and was unable to do so online.

I sent a mail to booking.com and they responded that I should go to the hotel on the desired date and I would be accommodated.

I was surprised to get to the hotel on the planned date only to be charged for 5days.

I was given an option to ignore the booking with booking.com and make a fresh booking for 4days directly with the hotel but I declined thinking the noble thing to do was to honour my booking with booking.

On check in airline told me my route was wrong I couldn’t check in, they couldn’t cancel as it was booked through third party booking.com and we couldn’t get hold of anyone to cancel the flight four hours before the flight, even after it left only after three days we got response on email with correct number to call.

Finally talking to partner who told me I couldn’t cancel my ticket or route but can change dates with penalties.

Penalty of 55% of ticket fare already paid.

I didn’t have I thought to call three day later with it and found myself cheaper flight provided the information to partner but now penalties were 70% of the amount paid already and was told it will keep increasing.

They refused to book me the date when I asked them to do I can be sure it’s booked while I go get enough…

Booked a villa in Bali that ended up being infested with ants and other instects We had originally booked for 3 nights but ended up only staying 5mins and had to look for new accommodation last minute with kids.

The owner refuses to accept the cancellation and said lies about us.

Booking.com sympathised but only provided 15% refund.

I think booking.com are wrong for allowing these owners on their platform and allowing them to take money without providing a suitable place to stay.

My husband also got bitten in the 5mins we were in the place

On Sep.

16th, I initially made a reservation on booking.com with confirmation number 4182614966, and pin code 0147, I cancelled this reservation immediately after I realized that the room was only accommodating 4 people which did not fit our requirement.

Few days later I noticed my account was charged for $1356.

63 and then refunded for $1284.

74, for a difference of $71.

89.

I called customer service and was advised that in order to get a full refund of $71.

89, I would be provided a link in an email and all I had to do was to follow the instructions and fill up the form via the link.

I followed and replied to the email on Sept.

We stayed in a short-term rental in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam.

A day after check-in, our host asked us to switch units two days before our checkout date and offered to move our luggage if we weren’t free.

Given our circumstances as we had an excursion to attend to the day of the transfer, we obliged.

Cash and personal possessions, (including a bag of women's underwear) go missing from our locked suitcases and backpacks after the host and his cousin transferred our luggage.

Booking.com tells us to give 20 hours for the host to respond and even tells us to not pursue the police if the host returns our missing items.

The host insists that there was “no stranger or suspect” that could have stolen our belongings and has conflicting narratives of the event while not presenting CCTV…

We rented a hotel for 3 nights (confirmation number 3232.

334) at ibis budget Lyon Sud St Genis Laval, France.

When we arrived it was midnight and the AC was broken (we were in the middle of the summer).

We managed to stay for the first 2 nights but It was impossible to be there for another night as it was too hot.

We checked out at mid day and of course ask for refund for the last night.

I have to keep texting this.

I booked a room plenty of rooms for my son at Terence Gardner in Clearwater Florida.

There's been a couple of issues and your customer service has helped me but, this time they won't talk to me or anything oh wait they gave me a $27 credit.

So every room he's been in they don't have a smoke detector and the room he was in for the past two nights from September 21 thru the 23rd.

The AC unit was spitting water all over the floor inside of his room nobody would come and fix it.

I've sent multiple texts and sent pictures to your customer service and all I got was a $27 credit no I paid $139 for two nights.

So tonight I finally got a hold of someone a customer service and I speak to supervisor three times and got hung up on all three times.

I have booked 3 flight tickets through booking.com and I have cancelled all of them on the same day.

It's been more than 10days since I haven't received the refund though Airline confirmed that they have already refunded the amount.

I have been contacting the contact center everyday to check my refund and every time they are saying different answers and getting frustrated with the answers. they are not customer friendly and no respect to the customers and they are trying hanging up on me.

I am not sure why booking.com holding up my funds.

I would need these funds asap as I need to use these somewhere.

Please help me to expedite the process and get me the refunds asap.

Worst service I have ever experienced.

I would never reccomend that anyone use this service.

Their customer service department does not exist.

The numbers listed do not respond.

They don't do due diligence of their properties.

This breached our contract.

Booking.com further bulled us to rebook a lesser but more expensive property and offered an enticement which it has still failed to pay to date.

I booked an apartment on 15 November.

The hotel immediately took money from my credit card.

However, I have now sent them 5 messages with certain questions about our stay there but they have not replied to ANY message - I sent some messages through booking.com and when they did not reply, I also sent the message to their indicated email address.

They do not bother to reply.

Therefore I want to report them as this is terrible service.

They charge a huge amount and also state that the email address can be used in emergencies as there is no front desk, but if they do not answer any email after 6 days, how will they answer in an emergency.

This is very bad for the name of booking.com as all the accommodation I have encountered through booking.com have always answered very soon and…

I'm writing to you after posting the following review: Let's rename this place the UNfriendly Inn.

We arrived from Maine for a whirlwind overnight stay in the Boston area so our time was limited.

One other reviewer said he was annoyed b/c the door was locked and he had to wait 10 min. before anyone appeared.

We waited in front of the locked door on the porch for 45 minutes - glad it wasn't winter.

When we arrived at 1:30, we found another customer who had preceded us and was also waiting.

She had flown in from Texas for a 2 PM doctor's appointment ......that she missed.

We had been told previously in an email that we could drop off our bags prior to 2 o'clock check-in and the desk was always staffed.

We made numerous phone calls to the Inn from both cellphone and the outside phone…

I was booked for 2 queen size beds, but the booking assistant texted me that they contact the Motel 6 in San Antonio,Texas & wait for 48 hours.

The manager said they never got the message about the change.

Oh!

I put I'm hoping for a king size in texting.

That manager still charged me for 2 queens .

To me, it was unfair to be charged for something I didn't want at all.

I want to know if I can refund of the money I had lost.

I had booked a two night stay through Booking.com for London weekend away with my Husband.

We were on our way to the accommodation when I thought I'd ring the person who owned the apartment just to let them know we were running a little late.

The person had no clue, he then went on to ask if I'd booked through booking.com and told me he'd took the accommodation down over 6 months ago.

I'd already paid £130 straight to booking.com...this meant my husband and I had no where to stay.

We eventually found a premier inn to find out we could only stay one night at a cost of £156 without breakfast, we had to find accommodation for the following night of which we thankfully did at another cost of £135.

I booked a rental car via rentalcar.com.

They connected me to Europcar at George Best Airport in Belfast, N Ireland.

I have two complaints with these people.

1 They doubled charged me for a satellite navigation system.

The car they rented me had a built in Satellite Navigation System and then they charged me 12 pounds 50 per day for it also.

Fraud.

2 They have just informed me that there is damage to one of the tires and they want to charge me for it.

The agent who checked the metal exterior of the car with me at pick up definitely did not check the tires and frankly I have never had to check tires before.

I did not damage the tires when I had the car.

Nor was there any other damage to the car.

The rental return directions at G Best City Airport are terrible.

The number everyone gives me is 1888-850-3958 which has told me for 2 days they are too busy for my call and I need a confirmation number and a 4 digit code ..

Again how do I get?? please cancel my reservations and I will never use you again.
