Ace Hardware

I was in the checkout line sometime after 5 pm 8/9/20 at Ace in Galt CA. The cashier was talking on the phone and at the same time ringing me up. No hello or smile or even eye contact. I interrupted her phone call to tell her I needed 4 bags of red mulch from outside, and please load into my vehicle.

She seemed very pleased to tell me they no longer load into customer's vehicles because a customer punched an employee in the face. Alright then, I just left without finishing my purchase. When I got home I called Ace and asked for a manager.

I got a supervisor instead, but I asked him if it was their policy not to load into customer's vehicles. I explained to him that the cashier didn't need to tell me all the details. we won't be able to do that today.

He never really answered my question…

I love shopping at ACE everyone is so helpful and friendly, however, Cottonwood, AZ. has a mask requirement and this ACE store does not, most customers at this location were wearing masks including myself, 3 middle age male shoppers were not.

I overheard an employee say that a lot of workers called in sick at this ACE store because of Covid and I myself are high risk. You should have a sign at the door that says no mask, no service and enforce it! It's the law! Thank you!

Is it corporate policy or local store policy not to protect employees or customers from Covid-19? Our local Ace Hardware has no protection of any kind. Employees not required to wear masks, no protection for cashiers, no social distancing marks in checkout line and no requirement for customers to wear masks.

It takes very little money or effort to be a responsible citizens and make small efforts to protect peoples' lives. Covid-19 is blowing up nationwide and in my local area. Why aren't you doing what you can to slow it down?

While shopping in the nut and bolt room, an employee that harasses us every time my husband and I go into the store, came into the area we were in, asking if we needed help, My husband reply "no". the employee asked again if we needed help.

My husband again said "no". The employee replied in a snotty tone,"Well good for you then". Now I got angry because this is ongoing with this employee, harassing us as seniors, I spoke up and told him to leave the area calling him a puke.

The employee threaten to call the cops on us, then went and got his manager who sided with the employee and told us to leave. Went to the store wednesday may 20 and over heard a manager cussing at a worker in front on customers raising his voice.

Do not use this store for remodeling. The stores computer and the sales person working the computer did not correctly allow for correct size of kitchen appliance and store manager refuses to correct this error. Very unprofessional and not consumer driven.

It would be so simple for them to correct the error but as a result of their prompting and management this has been drawn out for over a year with no satisfactory response or resolution. The manager, Ron, was supposed to contact me via phone and has thus far failed to do so.

This past week, I stopped by to check out the 90% off sale. " An employee was outside so I mentioned I wanted two of the Adirondack chairs. He said my choice only applied to the two white chairs. I explained that the sign did not say that.

I spoke with the manager who said that there were small brown chairs that had sold, but the sign did not apply to the other chairs. She finally agreed to sell me one chair for the stated price, but would not let me have two.

I have a complaint about the bad actitudes from a manager named dany Hanson in the store located in Jackson wyoming. I was there to pick up a stain paint. He insult me ,in front other costumers,and t grab me from my arm in two occasions ,I say don’t touch me and stay back,because him put his face front me and talk me lauded,this person is rude,I psico person.

I went to Ace Hardware in N. Portland to purchase items that were advertised on sale in the ad that comes in the mail. When I couldn't locate the items I went to the customer service guy and he RUDELY informed me that this particular store didn't have those items in stock nor would they in the future..

And the advertisement was sent out by corporate and the stores don't have to carry the advertised products. Just curious why you even send out ads if they are not honored. Any feedback would be nice.

hello ace hardware i contacted you about a week ago about the ace store parking uhauls truck and trailers behind my house. my backyard is open to the parking lot,the houses by the designated parking area have trees,bushes to block view of the fleet of uhauls the store is still having trouble parking all the uhauls in their designated parking area.

my house is far from the ace store,the wife and i really dont want to see uhauls(eye soars) when we sit in our backyard and watch are gardens and relax. i hope you can get them to park in there designated spaces which are out of our view and not behind my house.

Ace hardware advertised Scotts Turf builder for $21.95 with a bag or Scott weed filler free on 24 thru April 29, 2019. When I went to purchase the product the store in Webster Springs, WV 26288 was sold out and I was given a rain check. When I went back to purchase it the clerk informed that the owners would not honor the rain check.

I began working at Clairemont Crown Ace Hardware in March 2015. I loved working at this store. The staff was fun to work with. I kinda felt like they were my extended family. We all supported each other, on and off work, well at least the majority.

I was hired as a cashier and I worked my way up to head cashier. My reviews I received were fabulous. Fast forward to September 2017. The last review I received was so great, I had to laminate It, because I was so proud of it.

Next thing I know, I'm called into the manager's office and told I'm being suspended because another staff member has filed a complaint against me. Bought a stihl chainsaw at Keith's ace hardware in Brady TX. The saw had issues,and upon returning it was made to feel like I was ignorant. I have been using chainsaws for years. Very poor customer service and attitude. They are Johnny on the spot when selling you something,but God forbid you try and bring something in with an issue.

On 12/8/2018 - 4:46 pm. I went to this store in between working 2 jobs. The woman ahead of me was chatty, and while checking out, held up the transaction by taking a cell phone call. This was allowed while people were waiting.

When I called the manager, he said they don't do anything about that. So it was okay with this manager that people were held up while this woman was on a cell phone call. Bad customer service.

Gentle(wo)men, I was sold the wrong item. Called another Ace to see if you had the right item (answer yes we have 5 in stock). Was assured that you did & had 5 in stock & double checked price (matched to Ace website price).

Get to store, an associate asked if she could help, told her what I needed & she just point's to an aisle & say's it's over there & leave's me hanging. I gp over to look for & can't find, go back to here & ask's for her help & she get's an attitude like I bothering her.

She get's another associate to help. He look's & look's & is getting upset at me that it's taking so long to find (which he finally doe's). I ask him the price & he give's me a different one from the website & I ask him to go look it up (I'm wasting his time now).

I was supposedly hired for merchandising position at a small hometown store. They had me work almost 2 weeks claimed i was not performing my job to their satisfaction and because I wasn't in there system or in the payroll since I worked with no w2 or I9 form on place.

They didn't have to pay me for my hours. I thought that was against federal business law. I am not nor did I sign a independent contractor waver to work on the property. And they have employees who are using illegal drugs on the premises and working under the influence.

It truly saddens me, love ace hardware, and the idea that this franchised store degrades the Ace Hardware name is sickning. Plan to present my case to the labor commission. I hope my complaint will be received at corporate level. I consider this…

Sept. 30, 2018 I went to Ace Hardware SM City Iloilo Branch, Iloilo City to redeem 5 BDO original charged slip, I would like to complain your Manager/Supervisor Mr Robito Roquero Jr. who processed my transactions, because of his "Incompetence" 2 charged slip was error message already redeemed, this is impossible because I presented to him all original charged slip, then the remaining 3 was processed by his staff and was all successful.

I will not accept that I was denied of my priveleged for redemption.

I hope this matter will be resolved at the soonest time possible.

Left two sun screens to be repaired paid in advance for the service ,only to return to find both sunscreens cover in regular screen. Sure happy I had my sales slip would have had to pay twice for the wrong screen material .

The experience at Ace in Hillside 226 Long Avenue, Hillside NJ 07205 I went to purchase the paints that was on sale and the saleslady who was at the location was very nasty. She did not have anything that I asked for oh I sold out of pastel colors jumping to conclusions before I could ask a question just blurting out things I dont give rain checks I did not even ask for a rain check.

She acted as if we were criminals and we did not come to spend money. If this store is in our community she should not be treating people in the hostile nasty way that she did. I dont understand what was her problem I came at not even 4:30 in the day not at the end it was apparent she had a problem serving us.

Purchase a refill on a 40lb propane tank. Was told someone would come out and fill it. Went back into the store repeatedly asked for tank to be filled. After 45 mins was told they were sorry and only 2 people working the floor

I went to Three Fountains Ace Hardware on 11/4/2016 to buy paint. 56. I told them I had a coupon for a free gallon of paint with my Ace Rewards but had forgotten it, and since the painter was waiting I would bring it back to them.

They said nothing, checked me out and I paid for my paint. I then went back to the store with the receipt thinking they would refund me the amount of one gallon of paint. Instead they told me to go home and get all six gallons of paint and bring them back and they would start all over again.

First of all my painter was waiting on me and had opened some of the paint. I am standing there with the receipt and she had just checked me out, is she not smart enough to know how to refund one gallon of paint.

This was totally ridiculous and I am fed up with this store.

I bought 2 shower heads (40078) and they both whistle, I was wondering why they do this. I usually trust Ace when shopping for hardware, but cannot find a technical support line to call and get some help with my plumbing install.

Well this is what really got me, I live in ft. Myers and a veteran and have a card from the VA with a photo. I have done business with Lowe's (your competitor) and Ace Hardware and have accepted my card and received a thank you for serving sir.

Your store (on 6 mi Cypress) refused my card, showed me a copy of what is accepted. I went to customer service and they also agreed that N/G and no thank you. You suppose to be a leader. Needless to say that you lost this Vet.

I was looking out to paint my bedroom with a particular color and had some hardware requirements for which I contacted Ace Hardware. They have given me unmatched services and I was extremely pleased with them. I have found few more products under the clearance sale which were useful.

I recommend AceHardware to anyone who is looking for hardware stuff for their home or office needs.
