I’m a single father of two and I was recently displaced back in September and had been staying at motel 6 in Hammond since and paying daily. Apparently there was some sort of discrepancy about the payment that I made yesterday because I book through hotels.com and I paid for the wrong day. Instead of being contacted and being able to resolve the issue management waited until this morning 10/28 to call the police and have me escorted off the property. No one contacted me before hand nor was i even given a chance to rectify the situation. This is very humiliating and embarrassing. I was customer for almost two months and I struggled to pay daily and to be treated like this is unacceptable.
