I shopped at Family Dollar store number 07061 216 Bussey St. in Dedham MA. I have the Family Dollar app installed on my phone. The prices in the app were different from the prices that were on the shelves. I asked the Family Dollar associates if the prices that were in the app could be honored. The lady at the cash register changed one of the prices with the assistance of the other Family Dollar associate. She proceeded to ring the items and a few more items had wrong prices. I asked her if she could change those prices to what was in the app. She said she couldn’t, and called the manager. The manager comes over. He had a very nasty attitude. he changed the prices and went back to stocking shelves. There was one more item that came up wrong for the price. In the app the apple juice said it was $3.45 but on the shelf it was $3.80. I asked the store manager if he could change that price as he changed the other prices. He became very irritated and stated that he could not change the price. I asked him what was wrong with changing the very last item I had as he changed three other prices? He said he feels like the prices cannot be changed because the prices on the shows change every Tuesday. When I have shopped previously at the store and ran into this problem, no one ever explained that to me. Overall, even if that was the store policy, it was unnecessary for him to have an attitude, and treat me with unkindness and be rude to me. He even went as far to say, it’s just a matter of some change, whats the problem? Even when I requested for corporate, his exact response was you can go ahead and file a complaint they’re not gonna do anything! He even stated to me that I didn’t have to shop there anymore! I feel in my heart that is not how you are supposed to treat customers. I shop there a lot and to be treated like this is terrible. The other store employees were rude as well. But I can see why they are rude because the store manager is rude.
