I am a newly 50 year old homeless woman. By the means of distant family And friends I have been able to stay at the only motel/hotel available in St. James. I've been here about 8 days. I'd have thought that the widely known Super 8's of the world might be generous to offer a few comp days or something. As it is, I'm out on my after rounding up over 1000 dollars. Not easy for a woman who has nothing. Instead, I am told this evening that if I stay 1 more night I need to come up with an extra 100 dollars for possible incidents or they will charge whoever was kind enough to rent me this room one more evening. I feel that's really shitty. Although I may freeze being outside, I won't ask my family and friends to be subjected to that type of crap. Very disappointed.i
