I had a terrible experience checking out at Publix in Cookeville. The cashier , Denise A was extremely rude and impatient to the fact that I had to check out with my WIC card, & would not help me in any way, with any of my questions & concerns. I haven’t had WIC for very long but she treated me as if I was a nucense or an annoying customer for simply needing help. I wanted to just say “forget it” and leave the store! Customer service should be important,& nobody should be treated as “less than” for not having enough money to buy food.
