I made an appointment on-line for a nasal swab test for Covid and on 11/26/2023 at 10:45am. I presented to the pharmacy with a verification letter. I sat waiting for someone to approach me to do the test. What I observed while waiting was a tech behind the pharmacy counter being inappropriately loud and acting hyperactively fliting about without a sense of focus. I went to the desk to ask this young man if there was someone available to do the test. He looked confused and said that I was there for vaccinations and that I needed to fill out the correct form. I went home feeling very sick. At home I looked again at my verification letter. It said my appointment was for testing not for administration of vaccines. I called back to the pharmacy, and asked to speak with the pharmacist who said they had made a mistake. I returned to the pharmacy in the cold rainy weather. I spoke to the store manager and voiced my concerns about the techs behavior and the mix-up regarding my appointment. The store manager then addressed the tech about the event. I was not privy to this conversation, nor did I want to be. The pharmacist was not pro-active in addressing her co-workers behavior. She didn't apologize for the situation. I was horribly inconvienced while feeling terribly sick.
Sincerely, Kathy
I don't want this to be a published letter on a web-site. That would be a Hippa violation.
