On Feb. 10,2024 my wife and I went to the Lowes Store Nitro Market Place Cross Lanes WV 25313. We purchased a Fridgidare refrigerator and also the three year protection plan, at a cost of $1231.72. We were told it would be deleveried on Tuesday Feb.13, 2023 which it was. It was plugged up and ran all night and never got cold. We went to the Nitro store the next morning Wed. Feb.14, 2024 and explained the problem to a Manager named Mike, he said the they would get another refrigerator to replace it on Friday Feb. 16, 2024 and bring it to our house on Sat. Feb.17, 2024 and pick up the one that didn't work. We explained to him we were living out of coolers and three children and need something sooner. There are two other Lowes stores withing 50 miles of us and he made no attempt to contact them. He wasn't interested in out problem and kept saying we didn't wait long enough for it to get cold and acted like the whole thing was our fault. We waited till Saturday and the truck came to pick up the one didn't work, but didn't bring us a new one, when we called the store they said they had to have the old one before the could give us credit for it, I told that was not what we were told and the guys who came had the one that didn't work on the truck. They also said it would be Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week before the could bring another one. So we told them to cancel the sale and give us credit back on my card, which is another problem it took them a week to do this because the had no record of the broken one being returned. We purchased another refrigerator at another place. I work for U Haul and I purchase alot from Lowes and I have a Lowes American Express card with a $17,000 credit limit which I am going to stop using and we buying what I need for the company somewhere else. I can see why you have such a low experience rating with managers like Mike. The person we dealt with when we bought the refrigerator was very helpful and so were the men who delivered it. But you have a problem with store Managers. I don't really expect this complaint to go anywhere, but I can assure you I can tell other people about your poor service. I have the receipt if you need it.
