My son got mental agony due to your up normal delay to took off the Aircraft at Delhi on 16.09.2023 AI 537 My Son JEYAKUMAR PREM ARAVINDAN travelled from CDG to DEL to MAA by AI 142 under the PNR 5LSPAU. Travel starts from CDG on15.09.2023, the flight is supposed to take off by 20:40 whereas, it took off by half an hour delay and reaches Delhi on 16.09.2023 by 09.52 am (actual arrival time 08.15 am). He has to catch AI 429 travel to Chennai, which is supposed to depart by 09.50 am. Whereas, Airlines itself changed the travel time to AI 540 Departure by 20:40. Then they AGAIN CHANGED TO AI537 departs by 16:15 hrs. Boarding started and made delay , delay, delay to get the passengers into the Aircraft, finally by 06.00pm they boarded in the Aircraft. But flight did not take off. The pilot said there is a technical complaint and will resolve it quickly. Every 15 Minutes they informed the passengers. Everyone started shouting. Even after this they drag on the time to take off the flight. No passengers knew what was the reason and why they made such a delay and what was happening. One of the lady passengers had a panic attack, she was scared about further travel in the same Aircraft and she was afraid about the condition of the aircraft. Everybody's mind voices were the same. My son kept on calling us and worried about the travel in the AI 537 Aircraft. right from 06.00 am everybody sat in the Aircraft. They provided a meal. it was OK. Finally they took off the Aircraft by 09.25 pm and reached Chennai by 00.01 am. Since he reaches Delhi , it took 15:09 hrs to reach Chennai. He was Layover at Delhi airport for almost 12 hrs. Due to mental agony he got sick and scared about your Aircraft. For this up normal delay you have to compensate monetarily for his mental agony. Expect your reply within 24 hours, otherwise I will bring this to the notice to DGCA & MOCA
