11/26/23 - Stayed at the Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach Florida on 11/25/23. The 1 person staff at the front desk was nice. The motel itself was nasty, dirty inside and out and overall disgusting. Roaches on the floor. Beds did not feel clean. Refrigerator was nasty and dirty. I am so disappointed. Stayed here several times in the past and was nice and clean with reasonable rates and well run. The motel is now totally appalling. Felt like I was staying in the ghetto somewhere. Felt dirty being in the room and not safe. Doors are disgusting and locks broken. The front desk guy said that they are remodeling and were working on the downstairs rooms. Right now though, they should be shut down and not renting rooms at all. You allow pets to stay. No pest control. No cleaning with disinfectants. No one at the front desk 24 hours. Closes at night. The city of Cocoa Beach should shut it down until it is brought up to human standard for safety. Left at 2:30 AM because I could not stand to be in that room. The pool seemed to be clean but that was about it. I do not appreciate paying $170.00 to stay here and should be refunded.
