Yesterday at Staples, I got on line and waited patiently about 15 minutes to be served for simply binding 3 reports I brought in.
No problem with the bindings. The problem came after I had paid with CC and I noticed an "express guarantee" charge added to the receipt.
I did not request any special service-all I did was wait on line. It wasn't busy at all. Employee did not tell me prior to service that there would an extra charge of $4.67 for "delivery" within the hour. This is total BS. I called the store today to demand a refund but the manager refused and just told me to call corporate at 1800 333 3330. Of course, just a recording picks up and says "unable to take your call, please call back later."
In other words, just for the privilege of serving you without waiting an hour, they are now charging you extra. Brilliant customer disservice.
All they have accomplished is that I will go to another local printer store and never shop at Staples again.
