I opened a new ebay account recently. I won 3 items from a seller. whom I tried to contact several times about combined shipping. I never had any response. On 1/25/24 I contacted an agent by phone to report the seller for possible fraud and to see what I could do to not get suspended if I failed to make the payment. The agent screamed at me on the phone and threatened suspension. I got so upset that I ended up cussing at him and then hung up. I did not mean to to that, yet he got very angry with me. I tried to contact them again as shortly after that as they permanently suspended the account. Another agent yelled at me as well and said I was a threat to the ebay community. I contacted them again later that night and the agent basically said the team that did this had enough evidence to suspend me and then rudely yelled at me and told me I was a threat and disconnected the call. As many times as I have dealt with ebay agents off and on for 26 years, I have never done anything wrong on ebay and I have found that the majority do not care and they run off a script, etc. Ebay's computer system also mixes up information with other members and then those people's accounts get messed up and or suspended. Also, the account that was closed they think I am in a seller in debt and in Afghanistan. I am in California and I was not selling on that account. They really had no evidence to suspend me.
