Account was hacked, they verified it had been asked to see what they found and was refused told to get subpoenas. Then they refunded my account and told me to resign up and was going to have to pay double what I had paid.

I was happy using Senior People Meet.com Did off and on for a few years. Out of nowhere, I got a notice my file has been deleted and I just sign up again with a new name. They lost all my info and pictures. I was never told why I would have to do this to be a member. I did complain and got a refund on what time was left on my subscription. I had a very thorough file of info on my name.

This happened around 7-25-16. Lots of pictures and extra info. I keep getting 50% off subscription request in my email inbox. To get my business back, I would like to know why this happened. I have always paid for a subscription on time. Second, can you recover all the info and pictures that were on my old name? Third, for me to sign up again, you must give me a limited free subscription for all the problems you caused me. Feel free to call me on my cell to discuss. Also, take a look at how long I been using your site.

I met a lady on this site that honestly had no business being there. We had four dates and they were great! Our online experiences were very romantic and she seemed very sweet! And, at first, she was very open and shared information without provocation. However, as time went on, her contacts with me grew more distant and ambiguous! I couldn't understand what happened and we actually stopped emailing for a while. Finally, on September 12, I happened to be looking at her facebook page and saw a picture of her with her head leaning against a man's face. I realized I had met this man by the gate to her backyard when I offered to help her with her mowing which was our second date.

The man had acted standoffish and I had no further thought of him. It wasn't until I saw her facebook page that I realized it was her ex-husband! It took a little digging, but I realized that just after our second date was the time when things started going wrong. It was pretty obvious in hindsight what was happening, which was, I was a ploy to get her ex to pay attention to her again, and it worked. The problem is, i am a nurse of 41 years and I worked the ER at some time and saw men come in about once or twice a month with injuries caused by an ex boyfriend, ex husband, etc. that were pretty bad! A lot were caught up in situations like mine where they were not aware that the woman was putting them between her and an ex! It is despicable and it is an extremely dangerous situation that should never happen on a dating website.

As a nurse I felt it was my responsibility to at least warn you of this woman and block her from ever doing this again so no one gets hurt either emotionally or physically! In my digging into her background I found no less than seven different facebook sites that were hers with various versions of her name which said to me, this isn't the first time she did this. I also saw many posts from other men who called her their girlfriend but only had the longevity of a few months. I don't know what she is doing but it was very suspicious and I wondered if these men had discovered what I did and broke it off.

So as a nurse I am asking to please never allow this woman on your site again. I feel she will try again in a few months when she tires of her ex again and goes out looking. I have very little on her anymore except the signature she used on your site (She cancelled back in early July this year after she met me online), and that is ll8357, I think! Her real name is probably in your records as Leslie Hoak McCool, and she uses variations of that name as well so it may take some investigating. Please, for the sake of other honest men and for the women that really are looking for someone, keep her off your site permanently. I thank you and the men who will be spared this will thank you too! Just felt responsible for me to report this.

I have uploaded some photos for some time now and it keeps showing me my primary photo is pending approval. How long is this going to take before it can be approve so that i can start using my profile account? And how can I contact SeniorPeopleMeet to resolve this with a live human?

40

The site keeps locking me out of my account; and then I can't get back into my account after I had paid with a NETSPEND card; then a few days after signing into the account initially; I couldn't get back into my account when I had 3 more weeks to go. I checked yesturday; and was told I was paid until June 4 2016; not today another lock out issue and no one at Senior People Meet was there to help; as it was AFTER HOURS and can't get anyone until the next morning at 8 A.M.? So I can't get my mail contacts fo the site until tomorrow? Scammed by the site; my MONEY not being Honored?

I canceled my account over a month ago and was still charged again. I would like my money put back in my account. I canceled my membership on line and made it plan that i did not want to renew. Has anyone succesfully contacted the billing department and been issued a refund?

20

I've just been renewed again without my consent and billing will not give me a refund. I'm sick of this. No complaint phone number? Clever! I expect to hear from you within 24 hours. Do I need my lawyer?

20

I've only been able to upload one photo. It keeps telling me there's an error and to select from my browser, which I've done, several times with no result. The support hotline for the website is also down right now.

20

I can not see my emails, or access my account info. This is the second time this has happened. I have been a paying member for quite sometime. I can not understand why this is happening. This is very frustrating!

40

I got a bill for 108 dollars an now I can not find any way to contact them. I to want to cancel my account at once.

40

My subscription is to end on Dec 8. I paid fore 1 month and do not want automatic renewal. The site is not giving any option to finish this subscription and the tel. for the customer service is very difficult to locate. When I called the one I goggled for SeniorPeopleMeet.com has a recording which names itself as Match .com. Why is it so easy to sign up with the site and so impossible to get out. I call it a scam and do not have any respect for the business you are providing. I need you to stop this dishonest practice and not to charge my card for the period from Dec.8 to Jan 8. If you do, I certainly dispute this charge. I need to hear from the corporate office asap.

I signed up for seniorpeoplemeet.com yesterday. Every time I try and upload a photo it says pending approval. It stays up a little while, then it's gone again. I have tried this about 6 times. Can you help me please? There is no response from their support hotline either.

There was money taken out of my bank account that I did not authorize and I want it put back ASAP one on 10-30-15 for 108.67 and one 11-2-15. I would not pay to get a man I want my money put back NOW! Thank you.

20

I was charged $108.00 by SeniorPeopleMeet for I don't know what, I would never spend that much to meet any man! I want my money back and I also want a real phone number to call someone not the 1-888-892-2065 bogus support line. If you cannot afford to put someone on the phone well then I cannot afford to pay you anything.

40

Every time I tried to contact customer service to cancel my subscription I get a different response online. I have tried several times. I fear that my charges will continue to increase. I have been reading complaints such as mine and have found that the complaints have gone unheaded.

I am a male 80 years old and you were showing female pictures and profiles and all of a sudden you are showing males. Now I cannot get on the site. What is the problem with places like this that they cannot do a simple thing right! If I want to go on a dating site just let me select the types of matches I want.

40

I want to cancel my membership and can't figure out how to get into the area I need to and automatic payments keep coming out of my acct. This is a joke it was so easy to sign up for the account but now that I try to cancel it's damn near impossible.

On May1,2015 I sent this email to SeniorPeopleMeet.com Attn: CEO - Greg Blatt. I received a response from the Customer Care department within 5 minutes, saying there is nothing they could due to help me. I believe what upsets me the most is, I could of receive a Free trial account for a month, before paying any monies.. I'm extremely disappointed how their Customer Care department handled my request for a refund, after I explained I someone in their own department told me I could of had a Free account for a month. I explained to the supervisor how disappointed I was with their service and Mr. Amer could careless. All I'm asking for is to be refund for the two months service I'm not going to be using, considering Mr. Amer canceled my account on May,1,2015. Plus, I know that CEO - Greg Blatt never received my complaint. I was giving the name of the CEO by Mr. Amer, I hope his name is correct.

I signed up with your website on March 29, 2015. I was only going to purchase one month, but when I entered my information it gave me the opportunity to purchase three months. So I did. I haven't been very impressed with your service. On average, I receive three "No pictures" daily, which I'm not interested in or I get the same people over and over. I also put in my profile "females only" and have received several men. Anyway, about a week ago I tried leaving a message for someone and I continually get a reply stating I need to purchase an Upgrade before I can leave a message. I then checked my Credit Card statement to verify if you received my payment of $55.72 for three month membership, which you did on 3/29/15.

This is my first Dating website I've ever used and can honestly say I'm not impressed with the service. I called to cancel my membership on May 1, 2015. I was told I couldn't receive a refund for the remaining two months of my membership by your Customers Service Rep, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with Mr. Amer, he also advised me I wouldn't receive a refund for the remaining two months, I'm not using. I did explain to both parties, I would be willing to purchase the membership for the month I used your service. I'm asking you to please reconsider the decision, to not give me a refunds for the remaining two months.

I notice on Senior Citizens that ads are appearing that scam people into setting up continuous payments hiding it within the terms and conditions. This is a dirty practice that preys on people totally unaware of this sort of thing. I had never heard of such a thing assuming that I would have to be informed either in writing or by reading about it within the advert itself and in full view certainly not to have to hunt out the information. Nat west have promised to look into this practice and change the way these things hit their bank in the interest of their customers and they also refunded the £200.00 I was scammed for. You also have a duty and whilst I realise that this is big money for you I do still think you have a duty of care to millions of people who use your web sites. All I am asking you to do is to insist that anyone advertising on your search engine follow strict codes of practice which do involve helping yourself to peoples money without making it perfectly clear up front what is about to happen not hidden away in something you have to search for. There should be a tick box at the very least that prevents you from moving on from that point unless you have read and understood it. Your response if any will be interesting and will decide all my future actions on the internet.

Oh dear, first I noticed the Facebook side ads were asking me to meet Christian singles, now I get SeniorPeopleMeet asking me if I want to connect with older singles. No way.

20

I am constantly getting emails from SeniorPeopleMeet.com and I have no idea how I got on their email subscribe list, seriously it's annoying! Today I got an email asking if I wanted to meet 50+ singles in my area, NO! Why or why do I continue to get spam emails from these people with the subject line: "Interested in meeting 50+ singles in your area?"

40

No, weird sponsored yahoo ad in my email, I do not want to go to seniorpeoplemeet for a girlfriend 40+. Thanks though last time I checked I am not 50+ years old. That awkward moment when you consistently get bombared with advertising from a senior citizen dating website. I guess it must be working if they constantly buy banner ads online in popular places.

Tonight I went on the website to check the update of my membership. When I saw the status was expired I attempted to use the billing system to buy a single month more on my credit card. When I looked at my bank statement it was a 6 month membership not a 1 month. I immediately got out my iPhone and tried to get ahold of customer service but no luck. I have checked the website but nothing there either. I was really hoping I could find someone on this site but instead I think I got taken.

SeniorPeopleMeet.com is a big scam run by Match.com. Take my advice and avoid this website at all costs. They ripped me off quite badly through their auto-billing process. I had to login and turn off the automatic renewal so it would stop billing me. It was checked YES so that it would hit my bank accounts. I had no idea!
